Infinity Warps: Two-In-One (Infinity Wars: Infinity Warps (2018))

Great Book, In the story the world has been altered due to the power of the Infinity Stones as half the universe has been cut in half but not by killing them. Reality has been warped and Earth's heroes and villains find themselves merged together!Captain America and Doctor Strange have merged into Soldier Supreme, Ironman and Thor are now Iron Hammer, Spider-Man and Moon Knight have become the Arachknight, X-23 and Scarlet Witch are now known as Weapon Hex, Ghost Rider and Black Panther are now one as Ghost Panther.There are others but you will have to read and find out who these new and exiting heroes and villains are.

Merging two characters into one to create a new character then apply a story to the new character is a concept that leads to boring stories, which is what has happened. Gamora getting the Infinity Gems/Stones and shaping the universe in her image offered more scope for an interesting story than what this is.Purchase if you must but when you find yourself having no interest in the amalgamated characters you will only have yourself to blame, as I have. My advice is simply to wait, this will drop in price, there will be those who may find the energy to list it on Amazon for the very low price it warrants, just to be rid of it. I may well be the first to do so once I can find the energy and need the space it is taking up on my shelf.

The idea of combining 2 characters is fun in theory, and some the combinations chosen are what sold me on this book (primarily Weapon Hex), but what it results in is exactly what you’d fear from such a book; random, slap-dash mergers that aren’t given time to do anything interesting due to the nature of this book. I honestly believe that the characters of The Soldier Supreme, Arachknight, and Weapon Hex could be very interesting to see develop and grow more, but this book is not the one to do it. Disappointing.

Bought as a gift for my son who loves Marvel. He picked this out and has enjoyed it. Sorry I can't write a review about the content.
