Bristol Novelty Kid Roman Girl Costume, Complete with Tunic, Belt, and Headband

I bought medium for my tall 6 year old (120cm). The length was good. The costume comes in 5 parts. One long black tunic with banding at the bottom and a Velcro fastening at the back. The material was light but it looks fine. There is a red 'shawl' that you Velcro to the right shoulder. There is a red waistband which you fasten together again with Velcro plus two armbands with Velcro fastenings. We found the waistband far too big. We can't fasten it because the Velcro isn't in the right place for her. This is true of the two arm clasps. However, I reckon I can do some adjustments with Velcro I have. It's better working with something a bit big than too small. I ordered it with Prime and it was delivered next day. It looks effective and my daughter was pleased with it.

Our granddaughter had a Roman Day at school where all the children got dress up like Romans and got to learn about the culture and how the Romans influenced Britain and even the world. The children had a fabulous day and our granddaughter looked amazing, excellent costume and great value for money, oh and after school we went shopping and she wanted to go still dressed as a Roman 😬

My daughter loved this. She is a tall 8 year old and it just skimmed the floor I ordered the Large so I would advise the same. The costume was basic material but well made, and for one day at school , I would say it was good value for money. Very Pleased.

Bought a large size for a short 9 year old with slim build, perfect length and perfect fit. It's a slim fitting style dress with not much room for growth.Delivered within two days of ordering.

Cheap and cheerful costume for Roman day at my daughters school. I ordered Large for a very petite 8 year old, who’s quite tall; the length reached an inch above the ankle. Though the dress hangs loosely there’s not that much volume and the belt will give shape. As others noted the cuffs and belt will need adjusting,which is quicker than making the costume from scratch!
