Love these! They are truly very bright and the 4000k color temperature is perfect for reading and renders colors extremely well in magazines. At 4000k the light looks nearly identical to the afternoon 3pm sun, it even fooled me into thinking I had left a window shade up one time when I saw the light cast from around a corner! The 3w version is impressively bright and makes me feel like I'm on the grid, making no compromises! 3000k is great for general purpose home lighting and while not much higher than 2700k, the difference in color rendering is astounding! It feels "modern", but still warm enough to feel very much like home rather than the inside of an office. 3000k is perfect for a "cozy home" feel and 4000k is perfect for reading and getting the most from printed color books. Cinefex is a visual effects industry magazine that has very high print quality and tons of behind the scenes and shot breakdown color photos, 4000k is the way this magazine was meant to be viewed! There are good LEDs and bad LEDs, once you've seen how good the "good" LEDs are you'll never go back. Trust me these are worth the money!

Never heat up. The most important feature for us after having our 1st RV completely burn up. The original bulbs get hot enough to burn your ✋ when just turned on. LED never heat up. They are brighter and last a very long time. Worth the cost.

I've been searching a long time for a decent... bright LED replacement for a 1141, 12.8V, AC high intensity desk lamp bulb. I need an LED bulb that is rated for DC & AC operation. The last purchase, different brand & different seller, was a flop, but these bulbs are impressive!The pros:▪ Free Amazon shipping when I bought 2 of these.▪ The LED bulb are G4 base, so they come with an adapter base to fit in the lamp socket. See my attached picture.▪ I opted to go with the 2 watt, 4000K, Natural White, as I wanted a very white light. My lamp is used for lighting projects I work on, so I want brighter & whiter lighting!▪ The 2 watt LED is = to the 20 watt incandescent bulb it replaced!▪ The LED bulb is warm, not hot when in operation!▪ Advertised - voltage = 12-24 volts, AC/DC, amperage = 0.16 A, wattage = 2 watts.▪ Advertised - directional 180° wide angle light for better overall light coverage, much like a flood light or spot light bulb.▪ Advertised - lifespan of 30,000 hours▪ Advertised - available in 3000k warm white or 4000K.▪ Advertised - produces much less heat, compared an incandescent bulb.The cons:▪ $11.99... $6 each is on the spendy side!▪ Advertised - Non-Dimmable. ◄ On my high intensity desk lamps, now there's only one setting, high. The high/low option no longer works, but I can live with that.▪ The instructions that come with G4 LED lights & socket adapter says, "For the best results, use hot glue or black RTV silicone to secure the G4 LED bulb to the socket". No need for glue in my installation, which is for high intensity desk lamps.Closing remarks:▪ The pictures show the lighting of the incandescent, yellowish light, vs. the bright white light of this LED replacement bulb!▪ If these LED bulbs continue to operate with no issues, I'll be back to increase my product rating.

These work well and are bright, so bright in fact that I wish I'd ordered the 2W instead of the 3W. The 3W is a bit much for a reading lamp! Install wasn't quite plug and play since you have to install the lamp base separate from the bulb itself. It's not a big deal but the particular of my lamp housing meant that I had to use needle nose pliers to get the base in, after that though it was as simple as plugging the bulb into the base.I'm using these in my camper and I like them and would order them again.

Nice n bright

This LED bulb is easy to assemble, fits into the RV reading lights and stays cool to the touch. The previous halogen bulb would act as a branding tool on my hands if I didn't look up into the light to find the switch. No longer need to blind myself, I can safely feel for the switch because the whole lamp is cool to the touch. Love it!

FIRST THE PROS-These bulbs are bright, inexpensive, and consume significantly less energy then the incandescent bulbs they are intended to replace.THE CONS -The bulbs are actually a universal fit and the base is not actually attached to the bulb other than friction pins. If you use these in an RV, you may want to epoxy them together to stay put. These bulbs are smaller diameter and slightly higher then the original. If these bulbs are visible they have a distinct and different look that may not appeal to everyone. If you’re looking to convert to LED this is pretty much your only option in the market.

Starting with the low score reviews I see here...I don't get it why rated low just because of the adapter included it can be left alone because it looks strong enough to hold upside down and regular road vibrations and if you think it is not too strong you can glue it together or even tape the side...For the light itself, it is a great light, below regular market cost for this product and looks very well built... only the time will tell how good it is... so far 1 month and it is working good...

Bought for reading lamps in an RV. The base are separate from the bulb. The bulb is inserted with two prongs into the base prior to installing into the lamp. Bright, clean white light. Hope to get long life from them.

Sel à 2 pin avec adaptateur de base qualité c'est ce qui est décrit. Ce n'est pas cela que j'aurais acheté avoir su.
