Basic Fun My Little Retro Rainbow Pony Gift Set-Parasol, Moonstone, Skydancer, Windy, Starshine

These are so cute. Great value to buy the box of 5 versus 5 individually. These came at the perfect time because my daughter just turned 2 and she loves horses (AKA 'neigh neighs'). They've held up to her and my 4 year old son's brushing. I received a pristine box, with everything included, although my ponies are not scented and the box does not say 35th anniversary edition. Neither of these things matter to me, since I'm not saving them in an unopened condition. My sticker could not be removed from the package either, that started to separate, so I just left it. I'll save the box in the event that the ponies aren't trashed after they've been played with. Also worth noting is that Amazon video has the original 1986 My Little Ponies The Movie available to watch on the video app which I was equally excited about!

As a longtime collector of My Little Ponies, I knew I had to get this set when it was released.These are faithful recreations of My Little Ponies from the 1980s, when they first came onto the market.Basic Fun has remade the original 6 collector ponies and now, a set of the first generation of rainbow ponies. These come with a sticker, one shooting star brush, and 5 ponies: Skydancer, Parasol, Stardancer, Moondancer, and Parasol. For some reason they left out Sunlight, but we're not too mad :)PROS:The colors are much more vivid than the originals but their bodies are durable, soft, with strong glitter symbols and accurately printed eyes. The poses are near identical to the original molds and are very much like the "real" thing. Love the sticker with all the ponies together. It's adorable.CONS:With more than gentle brushing, the hair on these ponies begins to come out, not in clumps, but in strands at a time. Haven't brushed any of them bald yet but an eager child may pull out a lot of hair with brushing. The smell can be very strong but I did find it went away after the ponies had been deboxed and sat out for a while.Overall I think this set is an excellent value, a great find and makes my inner child very happy.

The quality of the toys are really nice and the box and box art is cute. The box itself is a bit oversized for its contents but is nice to display. I wouldn't personally buy this set for a child as it's not a $50 children's toy but it is perfect for adult and more mature collectors. The full price is a bit unreasonable, however if you can snag this set on sale definitely go for it

I've been a fan of the G1 ponies since I has them in the 80's. These have been fun to play with my daughter and she likes them more than the modern ponies. They have the sweet looking faces I remember. The scents are pleasant and I don't find them too strong.

Seriously a blast from the past and not only did they fit the 80s theme of my toddlers birthday party but she loves them. They also smell delicious although a bit too smelly in small spaces like cars haha

This is a great set. Very cute ponies that don't all look the same. When priced out individually, it was going to cost more hence this purchase. I'm sure my girl will be excited on Christmas!

These are adorable and bring back great '80s feelings. My only complaint, which I see someone else mentioned, is the scents-- they are nice, but too strong. I love the idea of scented ponies because it brings back memories of 80s scratch'n' sniff stickers, which are too small to be bothersome, or maybe were a different type of scent. But I'm going to have to air these ponies out outside for several days or weeks to see if the scent decreases. Having all five in one room is way too much for me, since I'm somebody who is also sensitive to artificial smells. For instance, I cannot stand Febreze. I literally feel like I can't breathe when people use it liberally. If you are the same way, you might want to think twice about buying the ponies. I'll try to update my review in a few weeks about how much the smell has dissipated. I wonder if washing might help.Update: a few weeks of airing outside in front of a fan has decreased their scent by about half. Will continue as long as weather allows!

I love how you have these classics My Little Pony’s. I bought this set for my 1 yr old granddaughter for Christmas 🎄. These pony’s you won’t find anywhere else, the value of these pony’s are worth a lot just like the older barbies. These Hasbro pony’s are way better then the ones they have in Target today for little girls . The new My little Pony’s now look creepy.😳

I loved these! My 6 year old loves the original MLP. Gutted I sold all my originals (kicking myself now!). I was quite pleased when these came up. You can see they’re very slightly different from the originals, but a good replica. I don’t think they feel like cheap imitations as some people have said, but can feel a slight difference, one that I’m happy with.

Die Ponys sehen super aus und sind toll verarbeitet. Sie sollten in keiner Sammlung fehlen. Der Geruch ist am Anfang etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber nicht weiter störend. Habe den Kauf nicht bereut.

A mi me encantaba los ponys de pequeña, ya he comprado muchos ponys aqui en Amazon de la colecion vintage. Me gustaría mucho que volviera a tener el castillo Dream Castle, el Paradise State, y otros artículos de colecionadores de My little Pony. Seguro pero SEGURO que habría muchísima gente que lo compraría.

Son preciosas!! 100% de colección, para fans nostálgicos 🥰
