Flawless Table Tops
I first used this product a couple years ago on a bottle cap bar counter and loved how it turned out. Now, recently I wanted to resin a slab coffee table that I finished. Didn't think I had enough of the MAS product left to complete it so I bought a cheap alternative on Amazon. Whooo-boy, did I have problems! Everything that could wrong did and I returned it, sanded down the entire project, ordered more MAS and the project turned out beautiful. I'm now finishing up two slab end tables and I can't get over how easy this product is to work with. Edges can be a little tricky but a foam brush works perfectly and the top self levels to a glass like finish. I'm an MAS convert now!

MAS Epoxy transformed my kitchen countertops!
Bought a cabin with 20 year-old tile counter tops in kitchen. Did not mind the tile but grout was worn down, old, very dirty and tiles were uneven in some places. Grout was just gross and difficult to clean counter tops. Decided to try MAS epoxy and wow, it changed my life in this kitchen. Now I have a smooth, hygienic surface that's easy to clean and looks great. So happy with results and love my kitchen now. Would definitely recommend this product. Things to keep in mind: It is very shiny/glossy so took a little getting used to but now we love it. If doing the backsplash as well as counter tops, do backsplash first because of the vertical surface and drips. The product is fairly easy to use and come with good instructions but helps if you do your research, watch some videos for application tips, and plan it out with checklists. We did and did not have much difficulty. If doing a large area, plan on doing multiple mix/pours as it's easier to work with small batches. Make sure you have enough plastic containers/mixing tools/brushes. The dollar store is your great for disposable plastic containers and brushes. Break up areas if you can. After doing the first pour on small area to left of stove, it helped us estimate 5-6 more pours for remaining project and we ended up ordering more epoxy. Cover cabinets and floors with plastic. You will have lots of drips over edges. Do not use if you notice any hardening (you'll feel the heat) of epoxy in the container. That happened with one of our mixes and it just made a mess and was unusable. We just started up another batch when that happened. Do not do this without a heat gun. We were amazed at how well it got out the bubbles. And quickly too.

Great results. Not a lot of bubbles
I am so happy I bought this brand of epoxy. I had it shipped to Arizona and had someone do the pours for me there. The results were fantastic and I must say, much different from the first brand of epoxy I tried. I don't know if it has to do with the different temperatures or the epoxy brand, but bubbles were almost non existent with this. A hair dryer for bubbles, but honestly didn't really see any. At home (seattle) with a different brand, I literally see the bubbles flying and shooting off of the epoxied table. The work was done very fast with this product and we did experience heat in the cups. I made sure we got the pour on to the table as fast as possible. Set time seemed much quicker than the product I have been using. I would buy this brand again, and it will be interesting to see how it acts in the cooler climate here in Seattle. We poured 2 countertops, 1 outdoor table top, 1 less than 1 foot glasstable top, a 4 x 4 table top and repaired a chair with this. I have enough left to maybe pour another small table, or to flood coat something. The outdoor top was poured onto 1/4 inch pressed board and is an insert to a table that we made after breaking the tile that was in the table top. It seems like it will hold up. My concern is that it might bow but we will see. I don't plan to do any flood coats. the first picture with pink counter tops is before. the last video shows a faucet that sprung a leak and you can see the water shooting out the side. I repaired the faucet using this same epoxy, I coated it both inside and outside with a thin layer. Of course it is a temporary fix, as the manufacturer is sending a new head but this is holding in the meantime. Also the mexican chair was falling apart. I used epoxy to glue all the wood slats to the bottom of the chair. (they were previously tied and mudded). This fix will last longer than the halflife of plutonium. I used hardboard packing material to catch the drips on these countertops. I don't throw packing materials away, I store them until I find a use for them. These long packing pieces originally came with headboards.

First time user. Stressful but fun!
This was my first time using resin. I got a table, took a circular saw to it, and chunked a bunch of it out. I used blue spray paint on the center and let dry before adding resin. I only had black, blue, and green food coloring and that blue spray paint to add colors to the resin. The food coloring allowed the resin to still have a see through affect while the spray paint made it look more milky blue. You have to add a lot of food coloring to get any color. Both really made it come to life. I did two layers of pouring each day, one in the morning and one at night. This let it dry over time, unlike the struggles of a big pour. I added spray painted stencils in between resin layers. I finished with a final pour covering the whole table, finishing the whole gallon. Let it dry for a week after that. I made many missteps with dust, uneven pouring, and resin touching skin, but it turned out great! I learned a lot too and will keep playing with resin. For this resin, use 91% alcohol with handsoap or dishwasher soap if you get it on your skin and rub like crazy before rinsing. Wipes help too depending on how cured the resin is. If it has cured for a while, use paint thinner like mineral spirits or something. Trust me, my gloves slipped off when I was evening out a layer and my hands were covered in it. I didn’t try to get the resin off until 30 mins later because you have to work fast on your project once you mix the resin. Don’t wait 30 mins like me. Safety first. I’ll be glad to answer any questions of my first experience with resin if there are any.

Follow their directions, prepare and you will get perfect results
Let me start by saying when I ordered this product I had absolutely no experience with this type of epoxy or anything similar. I have laid a dozen or so garage, warehouse, patio and workshop floors but that’s a completely different material and project which is probably obvious. I picked this material after searching mostly on price but also on overall rating. I always try to read the reviews I’m basing a decision on but this time I admit I was excited to get started on the project and hit the “buy now” button without my usual individual product scrutiny. After I read some of the more critical reviews of this product and after seeing other people’s attempts at using this and other products I got a little nervous. A little self doubt crept in. The product arrived exactly as I was lead to believe same day I was told in the brand new condition and the amount that I ordered. So all good so far. The material does come with an instruction sheet and it tells you step by step how to use the product. I found the instructions to be easy to read, understand and follow. They come right out and tell you in the instructions what to watch for, conditions, temperature and mixing requirements and they stress the importance of following the instructions especially in regard to the mixing and temperature of the materials. It’s all there in easy to follow steps even includes a troubleshooting guide and tips on how to fix and avoid certain and common issues. I followed the directions and had no problems at all. The product was a breeze to use with working time that was more than sufficient as i did find myself working really quickly because I didn’t know what to expect. I set everything that I anticipated needing up prior to mixing, kept all my tools in the same place each and every pour so I would have no confusion and would be able to have what I needed in hand when I needed it and I am a very happy customer. I have now done multiple projects, sinks, counters and a small river table and I couldn’t be more pleased to have found this product right off the bat. They even sent me a personal email asking if I had any issues or if they could provide any help or advice. I am a customer for life. Thank you

Great result
This product is fairly priced compared to other similar products. I used it for a church camp "fused sea glass" project and the result looked fantastic. Because we used plastic box frames for the students to glue the sea glass into first (like a shadow box), I couldn't use a blow torch or it would melt the frames. Also, I wasn't going to worry about any small bubbles because it was an ocean-themed project and I thought tiny bubbles would look super neat. When done, it self-leveled, had zero bubbles and hardened as hard as glass over night without any heat applied. The projects looked amazing and the kids love them. I mixed the product in very small batches (for 2 projects at at time) in paper cups. It worked great. Wear gloves as it it sticky. Cover a table with plastic if you are doing small projects. I love this and it has a huge WOW factor for projects.

Best stuff in town and excellent cust service to boot!
Ok so the honest truth of the matter is that I rarely leave a review on amazon because with our busy life and household I just lack the time. But on my free time I like to work with live edge wood and do projects to relax from a hectic corporate workweek. So after trying several products and even some varnishes here and there this product left me and my family and friends very impressed. This product is user friendly and leaves an excellent result and if you have any questions Paul will respond to you ASAP from their family run office and he is awesome. I had some questions and he resolved it right away. It makes me confused to the earlier review where he said it left a bunch of bubbles because as long as you follow the directions and blowtorch or heatgun off the bubbles after they rise the product looks immaculate. So far I did a live edge table and a platter for a Christmas gift. Because I’ve now purchased two kits from them because it works so well it seems to me as long as you follow the very simple directions you will get pretty much professional results. I rarely give a five star shout out but this family run American business stands for what American made used to mean in the old days, quality and trust with the company you work with because they believe in their product and stand behind it. Just remember when using any epoxy product it takes a few days up to a week to properly cure, this stuff is pretty much solid after 24 hours but before giving any of your wood products hard use like a coffee room table give it some extra time to set and cure properly and you won’t be disappointed and make sure no one puts anything super hot on your table to mess it up lol!

High quality resin!
So first off let me say I don’t normally do reviews, but in searching for a resin it was very nerve racking picking which resin to order as there were so many polar opposite reviews. I ordered this product to do a color filled wooden sign for my soon to be daughters room. I cut the name out of a 3/4 sheet of pine and then affixed it to a solid backer piece. So many reviews here on all the different resins talk about cloudiness, tackiness, etc Let me say, this product comes with everything you need aside from measuring cups(I recommend solo cups for measuring and mixing). I followed the instructions, making sure VOLUME measurements were 1:1 and followed mixing and pouring instructions. I poured a glaze coat prior to step pouring 1/8-1/4” pours of the color mixed resin in the letters, followed bubble removing instructions(buy a heat gun, not a torch, and keep it moving, don’t hold it over one spot) and continued step pouring until letters were filled (3 step pours of color, 1 step pour clear resin with glitter. ) For the final glass top, I did another glaze coat, to fill the porous wood, and then 2- 1/4” flood coats. This product hardened beautifully, was easily to work with and has a longer set time (which means it’s more forgiving and you have more time to move resin, remove a pesky dog hair etc) I will continue using this product for woodworking in the future!

Very pleased with the product
The epoxy resin works as it should, you use 1:1 ratio and you're good to go.
