Great idea with a flawed design
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I'll start by saying that I love the design behind this bag. Unfortunately there are a number of flaws with it, including that it can fly off the rack when going over bumps.Pros⦁ Very convenient system for attaching to a bike rack⦁ The placement means reduced air resistance compared to a traditional pannier⦁ Good waterproofing⦁ Decent size main pocket. It could be bigger but it can hold a 15" laptop, pants, and a jacket.⦁ When it falls off the rack, luckily it will make a loud enough thud that you know something is wrong.Cons⦁ The exterior pocket is tiny. I can fit my standard sized phone in it but that is it. Would like to be able to fit my phone + keys ideally. I doubt a large phone would fit. They should make this pocket bigger or add another exterior one.⦁ Latching mechanism is exposed on the underside and will get clogged with gunk, especially during wet season and if you don't have a full fender. This will make it hard to engage and disengage. Dousing the mechanism with WD-40 fixes the problem but it will need to be repeated.⦁ This is THE BIG ONE. The bag is simply not secure when attached. My bag has twice flown off the rack while going over bumps. The first time I thought maybe the problem was that the latch wasn't fully engaged but the second time (see video) it was definitely fully engaged.⦁ The bottom couldn't fully survive the first time if flew off the rack (see photo). It still works but the crack seems to be getting biggerAll in all, I really wanted to like this bag but I cannot recommend it. It has flown off the rack on bumps twice in less than 2 months (I am using this rack https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002T5H8MW/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I hope they come out with an updated version that is more secure.

10/25/2018 and Seattle's rain is back!
Seattle has had better weather than most of the US this year but today our rain is back and not to soon for me. I bought this bag specifically for hard rain and beyond my expectations it came through. I however I didn’t do as good. I rode my bike home with a cold and sinus headache. On the constructive side; I’d like to see it wider and the side pockets larger. The fold over top is designed for rain to run off of it, but the Velcro beneath the fold latches horizontally. I believe it could have 2 or 3 strips going laterally so that it would close easier and it could be larger when needed. Easier and better flexibility for interior contents. Over all great bag for rain.I also really enjoy the Ibera Bicycle Seatpost-mounted Commuter Carrier IB-RA1 and the Ibera Bicycle Top Tube Phone Bag, also Water-resistant with Touch Screen Bike Handlebar front phone bag. They work very well!!

Very dissapointed
I bought the rack and the bag and so far I am very disappointed that I went this expensive route based on my experiences. The latch system is poorly engineered and does not provide for lateral and negative vertical g forces! This bag has fallen off my bike and broken important things too many times for the latching system to even matter. At this point I have resorted to using bungee cords again which defeats the whole purpose for buying this expensive system!

Nice but expensive
I've been using this for a couple of months to hold my gym stuff. It snaps on and off easily, and I really like the three zipper pouches for your phone. My flashing tail light clips easily to the back. It's too small to hold much so I still have to wear a backpack for grocery shopping. It's hard to get the velcro lined up when closing, and that's how the bag-like top is closed up. It's not very secure but it doesn't really need to be.Since it's so expensive I don't know if I'd buy it again. I might try one of the cheaper options instead. I don't think this is worth the $90 or so I paid for it.

This is a very good bag that I wish had one better feature.
First off, this is a great product for a reasonable price. Don't bother with it though if you're going to go on any serious backpacking trips, there are a lot of better alternatives out there. What it's great for is my daily commute in Rainy Western Washington weather! Coupled with Ibera's pannier rack this top back comes off in 3 seconds and mounts just as quickly. It'll hold a reasonable amount of stuff, but Ive already had the occasion to wish it was taller and had a dry bag style closure as opposed to the flap over and hook and loop style closure that it has. If it did, it would be 5 stars without hesitation as this is the only negative I see with this bag. I use this on my Rad Power Rad Rover.

Finally a bag that is large enough to pack everything ...
Finally a bag that is large enough to pack everything you need for the day. Quality all around, waterproof and quick release setup. Checked all my boxes. This had to of been built by a commuter.

Poorly designed closure, inadequate
The closure system is completely inadequate. The flap has a strip of Velcro at the edge (fine) but the bag has a matching single, thin strap (not fine at all...). This means that the bag must be closed in one position and one position only. It can't be cinched down tighter if you just have a few items and it can't be filled past a certain point and be closed securely. Simple remedy would be to have a large patch of Velcro on the bag part. Could be a DIY fix, but at this price point that's not remotely acceptable. Returned/refunded immediately. Buyer be... not beware, just... be aware

Tends to fly off. Get a cargo net to go with it.
The space of the bag is great, it looks great and works well with it's rack counterpart, but the plastic tabs it relies on to hold it to the rack are just unacceptable. I looked at reviews prior to buying to see if I should spend the money, and I saw how it just flies off at random. So, I got a cargo net to help hold it properly, and I've not had an issue, but it should seriously be of better quality than this for the price.
