Dr. MartensWomen's 1460 Milled Sneaker

I love these boots, and I had to edit this review as I had to return them as the one that looked different started leaking rain water in and my foot was soaked! Think these boots have been glued and not heat welded and sewn like the authentic Dr. Martens off their official site. I ordered authentic docs from their site and they're like wearing slippers compared to these!They're a little snug especially with a thicker sock. The colour is amazing, not in your face. The one boot looked slightly different in shape from the other and is rubbing and digging into the back of my heel and leg, I am leaving them open past my ankle so they don't cause further damage as my foot now has a sore on it where it's rubbed. I am having to wear a bandage to stop it digging in me any further. I would think this will settle down when they are worn in a bit. Docs are notorious for being hard to wear in. Seller recommended. Fast delivery. Well packaged. Good price.

This classic shoe lives up to its reputation- sturdy, comfortable, and stylish. They fit as expected with a bit of wriggle room, and broke in pretty qucikly despite them being leather. I've had them for over 6 months now (and they've pretty much constantly been worn) and they show no signs of wear. Although they are quite expensive, you can really feel the quality and I know they'll last me years.Overall, a timeless and versatile boot of a great quality. Couldn't recommend more.

Great quality boots! I'm normally a 5 and a half in regular shoes in the UK, so after purchasing a 6 and finding them much too large, I swapped them for a 5 and they're pretty much perfect. I'm in the process of breaking them in right now - our bonding is painful yet satisfying. I find the best way to do it is to wear a pair of large fluffy socks and roll them over the top of the boot, or to tuck my jeans into the top to avoid unwanted chafing. The product is legitimate as far as I can tell (it's got all the right logos, bells, and whistles where they need to be) and seems to be of a very high quality. I'd definitely recommend these to anyone looking to try out a pair of Docs (like me) or to add to their ever-growing collection. I'm taking these lovelies to Prague next weekend for a full 9 days of stomping around, so I'll update on our progress then.

Love DMs. Yes, you need to break them first (recommend wearing very thick socks, or 2 paird of socks for first couple of weeks), and there may be blister involved in the process... but - one broken into - you will have years of comfort and quality wear. They will jot fail you. They are solid, timeless and comfortable. They always look good. I wear them with tailored dress in the office and with jeans over the weekend. The trick is not to tie them, but allow relaxed fit - tie knot at the end of each shoe string in 2nd hole from the top, and you will get east pull in /out boots that will serve you well and for a long time. got them for my wife as a gift, they arrived quickly and packaging could have been better but as you would expect from DM they are good boots and she was pleased with them my only criticism is the price they are very very expensive just for boots

I have owned these boots for about four months and have worn them regularly. I've nothing but good things to say about them, they look great, are comfortable. The soles are fine, the bottoms are fine. The laces are good quality and even came with a spare set, even though they were yellow, but it was a nice surprise. They are comfy out of the box, and just get more so each time you wear them. No rubbing/discomfort whatsoever. The material is very nice.I don't have anything bad to say about them really. Best footwear I have ever bought, and worth every penny.

Not too long ago I was a mere boy. I had chickens for feet that would peck seeds off the ground as I walked proudly through the streets. Life was going great until the winter came and my chicken feet started to get cold. The chickens that once clucked merrily as I walked now shivered uncontrollably and cried tears of sadness.I opened up my laptop computer one day and shook it until it gave me answers. "Give me answers, god damn it!" I screamed until the laptop I was shaking started to co-operate. The answer to my woes and the answer to my toes was a shiny pair of cherry red Dr. Marten's 1460 boots. See, Dr. Marten was once a mere boy with chickens for feet, and started growing boots in his boot orchard so that he could have a better life. I phoned Dr. Marten and he wrote me out a prescription for a pair of these boots and my life hasn't been the same since. Now I can brave the winter, and my chicken feet remain warm and toasty inside my giant pair of boots - what a comforting image!My only gripe with these boots are the terrible migraines and nightmarish images that have started, but the less said about that the better.

So perfect! I was so afraid of the “hard” leather that you hear about. Yes, it is tough but nothing like people make it out to be. Just wear some Dieckies socks with them and you are golden. My husband bought me these and I am in love. I usually wear about a 9.5-10 regular foot. A 9 is perfect on me. Can’t wait to wear them all the time. Don’t hesitate, get them :)

Bought these in large size knowing that Doc 1460's are unisex but these were cheaper since they are labeled "women's" and I suppose there are not many women who wear a size 13.I like the 'snowplow' bottom over regular Doc's bottoms even though it never snows where I live. I work in construction management and wear these daily at job sites with all imaginable conditions, mud being most common. I came back to this brand because I was sick of soles wearing out and remembered that Doc's in the 90's never wore through the sole, glad it is still the same. Still look great too. While the original bottoms are great, these have more grip on slippery surfaces and seem to be just as durable. I have had these several months now and the little dimples on the treads are just barely wearing off on the edges and center whereas other brands I have bought (Clark's, Rockport, Georgia) would usually be 1/4-1/2 worn off at 6 months. These are more comfortable as well (Rockport chukka boots being a tie in comfort and Clark's being terrible).I didn't realize they had a liner when I ordered, but it is much thinner then the leather so I don't think it makes much difference temperature wise, it DOES however make sliding my for in much easier and prevents leather staining my socks as well as making the boot more comfortable with no chafe.Only complaint is I pulled the tag out of one while putting it on, these aren't super heavy duty loops anyway, and nbd.9.8/10 will buy again in several years when they wear out eventually.

Están muy padres las botas, se ven tal cual en la foto. Me animé a comprarlas después de que mi mamá se comprara unas modelo1460 vonda con flores rojas. Estaba preocupada porque las de mi mamá eran más grandes (24cm), pensaba que me quedarían chicas las que yo pedí pues las 24 me quedaron como anillo al dedo (yo soy talla 23.5). Tardaron mucho en llegar y cuando por fin las pude probar había una variación extrema en el tamaño, me quedaron enormes. La parte frontal de la bota viene mucho más amplia y la piel era extremadamente dura, de ahí entendí porque algunos comentarios dicen qué hay que amoldarlas varios meses. Las vonda vienen suaves y no se necesitan amoldar. También tengo la duda si realmente sea piel. En la etiqueta dice que es piel pulida, sin embargo me da la impresión de ser más polipiel. La suela es muy cómoda y la verdad es que se ven espectaculares. Adjunte fotos de ambos modelos para que vean qué hay variaciones de tamaño de acuerdo al modelo. Al final la talla de las botas que pedí era la misma que las vonda.

Very stiff boots incredibly wide and seams immediately rubbed in the wrong places. So unfortunate I used to wear doc martens daily and always felt that they were well made and comfortable in the past.
