GOOD PRODUCT - POOR DESCRIPTION
I was going to return this item. In fact, I notified them about 20 minutes after purchase that I wanted to cancel the order. They claimed that it was too late because they had already processed the order and it was on its way. REALLY?? AFTER 20 MINUTES?? I call BS on that one. The reason I was cancelling the order was because I realized that the product description said nothing about wiring being included with the tail lights. However, as it turned out upon receipt, the wiring was in fact included with this product. It was a pleasant surprise and I found the assembly incredibly easy. Everything works perfectly and the side markers look great too. A piece of advise if you have a rivet gun, use rivets to install the side markers instead of the screws. Aluminum rivets won't rust. Hope this helps you AND those that put the product description together. This product would have received 5 stars if it weren't for that.

Great set of lights, easy to install and you get what you need!!
A note about lights that say they are "submersible"...(and I am not knocking these at all, they are exactly what I was looking for) If you want lights that will withstand being in water from time to time like a boat trailer, then you must grease the bulb connections! I never delt with LED's but regular bulbs need to have grease on the ends and then push them into the socket(s). I guarantee they will handle being in water and not blow out. I have done this for some 40 years and with all my trailer lighting and the bulbs come out easier to change and last for a very long time.Water WILL GET INSIDE any housing that is plastic and has removable lens(es) So a small weep hole at the bottom is the ticket....Water must be able to drip out, because IT WILL get in...I don't care how many gaskets you use or how much silicone!Myself, I have never had a light "pop" from being hot and then going into water, I would back my boat in and look at them under water 'cause my side lens was missing and it was most certainly under water...

Meh
I have mixed feelings about this kit. I just installed it on our band cargo trailer. The harness didn't fit trunk connector. Luckily, I already had a connector installed so I didn't need that but if you buy this MAKE SURE IT FITS before you install it. If I would have wired everything up to find out that it didn't fit, I would be pretty ticked. The side marker lights don't work for me. I tried several different ways to connect them and neither one worked. I don't have a place to put them in but I was going to use them as interior lights but unfortunately, no dice. The instructions are specific if they need to be grounded or not (for the side marker lights).Other than that, it's worth the money I think because everything else works and it was the cheapest I could find. But you do get what you pay for. But given some of the trouble, I give it 3 stars.-Austin, TX[...]

Good once the crappy gaskets are replaced.
Contrary to several reviews these lights are supposed to be waterproof and they are with good gaskets. Yes they have a hole for the wires in the bottom but physics says that only about 6 percent of the volume will fill when 2 feet underwater if the top and sides remain airtight. However the cheap foam gaskets may not do this very long if at all. Silicone won't adhere to this plastic so I used form-a-gasket sealant to replace the gaskets including the side marker lenses. Since doing this my lights have been perfecty watertight for over a year. If you see any bubbles when underwater you have a problem. Also use waterproof heat-shrink crimp connectors for the wiring.

Easy Installation
The package contained all of the items necessarry for a quick and easy installation. The lights are made waterproof via gaskets and seals so I can't say how effective they are until the next time I launch my boat - next Spring. The nuts and bolts for attaching the lights are electoplated steel, not stainless steel, and I suspect that over time they will rust and corrode, especially if used in saltwater. I didn't use the wiring harness - I reused the old harness - but the insulation and connectors looked to be very good quality. All in all, it seems like a good buy.

Works great, unplug the lights, first.
It's submersible but not waterproof, meaning that water won't corrode or ruin it, (as it will on non-submersible lights as they wont drain properly) but you still have to unplug the connections to your vehicle or you'll get a short. Not a big deal. You have to get out of your truck to losen tie-downs and unhook anyways first, just unplug it. You should always disconnect your connections anyways, even sealed lights can get leaks eventually and you'll get a short. As far as quality and assembly, they were very easy to install. I had my trailer lights swapped in 20 minutes. Much better than paying $100 for a kit at a boat store or trailer shop. I didn't use the side lights or the wiring system yet. This was for a quick fix to get my trailer street legal. Glad I got it.
