R180 Connect Plus 2-Slice Touchscreen Toaster - Connected Smart Toaster with Patented InstaGLO 2.0 Technology, Toastie Press Mode, Digital Photo Frame - Pan

Yes this is an expensive toaster, but making perfect toast or bagels in the morning is important to me. Compared to other top of the line and similarly priced toasters (like Dualit, Wolf, Smeg, etc), the R180 Connect Plus has some great unique features, including the photo frame where I can see my family and dog photos, current weather which I like to see before I leave the house in the morning, and the ability to receive over the air software updates when new features become available. Best of all, it has great toasting performance due to the preprogrammed bread types. I never burn anything, and I don’t have to pop the toast up to check if it is over toasted or not toasted enough. Everything pretty much comes out exactly as I set it for. And I also should add that it makes great panini sandwiches with the toastie press. Sure I can make toast with a $30 unit, but this is a luxury product with features that are worthwhile to me. I also used to think this was too much to pay for a toaster until I started using one that our office purchased. I was hooked!

It’s a fantastic toaster! You can adjust settings for your doneness preferences and it works great!!

If anyone would have told me I would pay $400 for a toaster I would have called them crazy . But here we are. It’s nice to see the weather each morning and pictures of my dog ! Oh and it makes good toast .. so yeah it’s a cool splurge .

The absolute best toaster I have ever owned. A bit pricey, but well worth the cost. Love the output and controls screen. I also bought the pannini press attachment separately and just love it. Makes the best grilled sandwiches.

Screen stopped working almost immediately had to return. I guess it’s a common issue.
