Ladies of Gold Volume One: The Remarkable Ministry of the Golden Candlestick

I really like this book. I'm learning a lot from it.

I was so excited to get this book! I thought it was going to be the experience’s of the golden candlestick ladies. Instead it’s manly teachings from Francis which are good, just not what I was hoping for.

This is not what I was expecting but it was a wonderful read. It's more of an anthology of writings and experiences. Simple wonderful

Another great book by James Maloney, which can help you enter into a deeper walk with God. I read it over a few months time, underlining and prayerfully looking into passages that helped me. James has complied many of the teachings and writings of Frances Metcalfe who was the founder of the Golden Candlestick. There are meaningful truths that can help bring us into a more intimate relationship with God. I personally came to understand praise and worship in a way I never saw before. Ladies of Gold is a book for all believers. I read this in Kindle. 5 stars.

There is so much deep revelation in this book that is has completely changed the way I look at my relationship with our loving Father and Jesus. So many times I was undone. Looking forward to the second and third books!

Extraordinary events in the lives of these women (and men) of the Golden Candlestick inspire others who have a leading to dedicate their lives to prayer and praise! The excitment of real people going deep into spiritual journeys that defy reality reads like a thriller but is beyond any fictional mystery. I couldn't wait to get the other two volumes! A must read for those ready to learn how to encounter deeper places with our Creator!

Its a book about a group of people who devoted their lives to worshipping Jesus and intercession. The writings are from the 40's and 50's so the language sounds a bit archaic. So far it is a recounting of the personal events that formulated both the leader's character and the function of the group according to the Lord's direction.Very interesting. Full of supernatural encounters with God and His purposes. I bought all three and am eager to delve in deeper.

This book powerfully moved my spirit to desire more frequent and deeper experiences and encounters with God, the Most High King of the Universe. He is worthy of our praise and of the worship of a laid-down lover, for His glory. Thank you Yeshua for forerunners such as Frances Metcalfe that inspires us and who we can learn from.

I was a bit disappointed in this book as I thought it contained details of their visions, visits to heaven and experiences which were incredibly exciting and inspiring. It ended up just being teachings from Frances Metcalfe which were very good but, to me, nothing much new to learn after many years of being in Christian ministry.

a fantastic book that is one of those books that you know you are supposed to be reading, an appointment with God. There is so much more possible as a Christian than most people can ever dream of and reading this confirms that God is moving in amazing ways. It will confirm things and you know as you read it that it is the truth. Could it be possible that God wants you to step up to a higher level and realise that He can do anything, knows everything and has a mission for you. Be blessed !

Really unique and interesting experiences that help my deisre to encounter Reality grow.The intro is a bit too/unnecessarily cautious. The writing of those women are indeed realistic within the use if their old style language, so I have to learn to process that. But the content is very valuable and encouraging.I definitely recommend the book to all thirsty.

I was looking to be inspired to go deeper with God.This book is not hard to read but caused me to realise how much closer I might become to our lovely Jesus. And inspired me to begin this journeyI would call Frances Metcalfe a 20th century mystic.
