Give it time to dry and it should not bleed in my experience

Can a beginner write calligraphy with these pens straight away or is learning writing technique also required please?

Writing in calligraphy can be tricky. It’s a skill. These pens will help you write in calligraphy font and should give you the look you are after. However you will need to practice writing with this pen until you are satisfied with your writing. These pens are great and the easiest to write with in my opinion

Are these pens permanent and light fast?

I haven’t really tried on different surfaces other than paper, but I don’t think it won’t work on plastic or any plastic type bags, but it is really light and fast of paper.

can you use watercolour on top of these or will it bleed?

I find it best to watercolour first and then once that is completely dry these can be used on top.
