I was almost hesitant to buy this particular Raw Black Castile Soap because I read some reviews of "Poor Packaging, or Unpleasant Scent, also Not Lathering".Well, here's my two cents on this soap. I received my package, and it was perfectly packed, with no leaks whatsoever. The first thing I did, was open it up to smell it. It has a Heavenly Aroma... Very Clean, and Earthy, like a Lavender and maybe Sage? I can't quite put my finger in the scent profile, but it is AMAZING. The soap itself is thicker than most Castile Soaps, so it doesn't just run right through your hands or your loofa... Which is great! It's also, much more moisturizing than most Castile Soaps, that can actually dry your skin out. This soap will not. Castile Soaps are supposed to be pure and organic, without Sulfates and Parabens, so they aren't supposed to lather like a regular bar of soap, or even like regular liquid soap... That stuff is bad for your skin. Just because it doesn't produce a thick leather, doesn't mean you're not getting clean... You're actually getting much more clean than you would with Dove or Dial Soap.Hand down, I will be purchasing this Raw Black Castile Soap from now on.PS... I do not, nor have I EVER been paid for any reviews. I'm simply just honest about the products I use.

I will not be buying this one again first off it came in a much smaller bottle than the tea tree and second it does not clean good it also has an interesting smell

I am an African Amercian woman with semi-sensitive & oily skin. I didn't always breakout but the older I got the more sensitive my skin got & I started to breakout more & more. I've tried black soap before but it was the black bar soap from Wal-Mart. It worked ok. I then started looking up pure black soap in bar form but noticed reviews about there being objects in the soap & women would end up getting scratched by it. So I tried the liquid form. I read about the smell but I figured I could always put perfume on to cover up the smell. This stuff has been great on my face. My face has cleared up quite a bit and the soap has helped with my blemishes. I also like the smell it does not stink it is a clean herbal smell. I use Ambi face moisturizer after washing my face.I recommend this for women with semi-sensitive & oily skin.Also, the bottle is huge & it'll go a long way. I hope you end up with good results because I did.

I have been using this product for years as my prime facial cleanser...the best I've used

I've gone through a lot of cleansers, but I've finally been able to get clear skin thanks to this product! It feels really great!! I love that it has all natural ingredients and feel safe about using this product. However, unlike most (or almost all) facial cleansers I've sued before, it really hurts when it accidentally gets into my eyes, so -1 star for that. I've been using this for years. It seems wonderful, better than some perfumes and does wonderful things for my skin ! Get you some ! You will never use another soap
