Do you need the side tank?

Our GE Profile Opal 1.0 has failed. Will the side tank for it connect to the Opal 2.0? I don't care about it matching. Just if it works.

Not sure but when the factory one breaks he will send you a link to buy a new one. Instead of warranty replacing their defective junk! Do NOT BUY
