BEST item we’ve purchased on AMAZON in 10+ years! Sturdy, comfortable, the fabric feels good against everyone’s skin in our family, so much so that looks like we’re going to buy a few more to prevent squabbles over this! Needs to be fluffed up/shaken, maybe placed in sun to aerate it after being compressed so much for shipping. We laundered (personal preference) the reversible cover (purchased the ‘Aspen’ for $20 extra to get the 2 different colors & 2 different fabric choices offered), not a customized feature, saying this so not to confuse anyone. The retail/online/big box/chain & discount stores sell numerous versions of a ‘reading/tv bed and floor pillow’. I’ve wasted $$$ over the years, buying those and even trying to ‘re-engineer’ some myself to no avail. Suggest forget/donate those, buy this one that IS quality/comfort/support and worth the extra $$; doubt you’ll regret it! UPDATE: (11/30/19) My personal preference is the ‘fiberfill’ vs the ‘memory foam’. There’s a slight difference, where the ‘memory foam’ seems perhaps best for people seeking firmer support & the ‘fiberfill’ seems like a soft/warm hug in the colder months. The Seller has been Phenomenal, going beyond anything I’ve EVER experienced (especially among an online purchase scenario), they’ve helped me find the best comfort level for my needs. And they even have an extra bag of the filling if you might need to make your pillow firmer/fuller. In a nutshell, buying this item from anyone other than THIS SELLER ‘Hit Notion’ couldn’t possibly be the best decision! During these times of the “Covid-19 Pandemic” we’ve discovered it’s FANTASTIC for relieving back/seat pain issues (for reclining chair users) due to lack of support in TODAY’S (extremely lacking in quality) FURNITURE. Sadly today’s reclining furniture (are NOTHING even semi-close to the quality/support/durability of the Lazy-Boy) no longer provide those wonderful factors as the quality of Lazy-Boy reclining furniture; therefore sitting in reclining chairs (the non Lazy-Boy types) can result in Sciatica, lower back pain, numbness & sore muscles. However, with this FANTASTIC pillow placed behind your back providing EXCELLENT support & comfort, it can turn the sub-par reclining furniture into the comfort of every Lazy-Boy we’ve owned since the mid 70’s! (1970’s that is!) Now sitting in the reclining furniture with this pillow makes it a piece of furniture in need of a sign above it warning users that the chair can easily cause users to fall asleep quickly & wake-up with no pain despite hourrrrsss of “snoozing” in the chair now! Well, I needed something to lay up against the wall while sitting on my bed and this bed pillow is perfect for that. It's not the most comfortable pillow it provides good enough back support. It's not soft like an actual pillow, but it's not supposed to be. Its job is to be sturdy and still enough to support your back while sitting on the floor or your bed without falling over and it does that easily. I'm happy that I made the purchase and it's worth the money considering I use it often. It looks good too and has a soft feel to it. The pillow itself is very sturdy so it won't fall over. It has great support for my neck also without the worry of any strain or discomfort. The only dislike would be that if you sit for long, it will be a bit uncomfortable on your back, but this can be fixed by placing a soft pillow in front of it for extra comfort. I found myself having to do this frequently and this tended to fix the issue. Other than that this pillow is great for sitting in bed watching tv, reading a book, or browsing on your computer. No more sitting my back up against a hard wall or trying to stand a pillow up to lay against. This is the ultimate bed rest pillow to suit your needs.

This product seems very well made and is very supportive for what I need. I used it when reading or watching TV in bed since we have wrought iron headboard and this gives good back and neck support. It is fairly heavy though so you need to be prepared to put it on and off of bed unless you want to sleep with it there. I truly expected more of a bright pinkinsh-purple color given how it looked on numerous screens and given the "raspberry" color name. This is more of a deep burgundy wine color. It is pretty, but not what I was expecting or wanted. There is no way at all I can mail this back, however, because it comes vaccuum packed and expands once opened. Overall , I would recommend product, but just be careful about your color selection.

After a failed lumbar/coccyx fusion procedure over a year ago, I continue to experience chronic back pain and I am always actively looking for specialty cushions that are specifically designed to enhance back support and aid with all day comfort. First, let me apologize / explain the large patch sign on it/ explain - my parents live in a memory care home. I got this to help my dad's posture when sitting in the couch. (It matches PERFECTLY, by the way. ) My mom has dementia and constantly moves it when he's not sitting there. It's big & heavy, so difficult for him to move and reposition it back in the couch. I ironed on this note before I thought to take a review picture. Anyway.... with that said, the arms of this pillow don't naturally sit this straight forward, but that's how I've manipulated it to help my dad sit upright without leaning so far to one side. It was just as pictured. The double-sided Aspen model is awesome. This pillow holds it's shape so well and provides excellent support, and it's tall enough that you can comfortably lean your back and head against it. I'm using the suede leather side, which matches their couch so well. The reverse side is a nice soft plush fabric, which I imagine would also be quite comfy. I'm super happy with this purchase and so glad I went with this seller.

Because the inside stuffing is ripped up foam, this pillow is very firm. Also, I was hoping that the neck support would reach my neck, which it doesn't, unless I slouch...a lot. I'm 5'7" but I got this for my husband who is 6'3"...so it's not really helping him.

I splurged and bought the XXL furry pillow. It’s a quality item. I went far too long with it being uncomfortable, but that was on me. I finally got around to taking out quite a bit of the stuffing. Now I can settle into it and be truly comfortable. I enjoy settling in for reading and television watching. I like to pull it away from the head of the bed and lean back a bit. The arm rests are lovely, and the head rest sits at a perfect height. I’m 5’5”. It is a big chunk of money to spend, but considering the state of the world, this is amazing self care. And don’t we all need some of that when we can get it. You won’t regret it. Just know you can take out some stuffing and tailor it to your comfort level.

This was a terrible experience. I was so looking forward to having a comfortable pillow for reading in bed, something I have wanted for a long time; however, I deeply regret this purchase. First of all, it is as hard as a rock. It comes compressed, and I have bought memory foam items before, so I expected it to expand and fluff up the way they usually do. I followed the instructions, but it has not gotten any better. It's literally like a big rock, and the few times I used it, I actually got a headache. And, although I have used it less than five times, one of the buttons that attaches the bolster has fallen off. I was not even using it when this happened. Such a disappointment. To add insult to injury, returning it is going to be a nightmare. One of the reasons I am mostly shopping online is because COVID rates in my state are surging uncontrollably like never before. This thing is huge and heavy, so now I actually have to buy a big box, print out a label, lug the thing to my car and then into a UPS drop off location to send it back and get a refund. I certainly wish I had never purchased this.

The taupe color is beautiful. It’s expensive but great quality, so it’s well worth the price. I can highly recommend this item.

It is a perfect pillow for reading or TV watching in the bedroom. Soft enough to sit comfortably and strong enough so that it doesn't get squished with the person's weight on it. Highly recommended.
