I have been using Effitix since Activyl discontinued their formula with permethrin. In two states over 2-3 years I have pulled maybe 5-7 ticks from my dog after frequenting tick-heavy areas on hikes and walks. I also supplement with permethrin-containing horse fly spray the last week of the cycle. Mosquitoes and other flying insects are also not interested in landing on my dog, which is an added benefit.

Have been using on my 3 Vizslas for at least 2 years.Never had a flea problem and when there is a tick on one of them it is half dead, not moving and certainly not dug in.Only negative is that is a liquid and takes a while to dry, must keep them off of furniture, yes they are spoiled and sleep on the bed. That is the only problem.It is very effective and that is what counts.

So far so good! I like that it has the same ingredient of frontline plus the permethrin that is contained in the other popular flea and tick drops. These ingredients both kill ticks. It’s one of the only ones on the market that has two tick killing ingredients. You also get the repelling power of the permethrin. Along with another chemical that is a flea growth inhibitor. My last dog got Lyme disease and we had a put her down. She was up there in age, but the vet told us, that dogs are able to fight Lyme disease, with the help of some antibiotics. Well that was a big bold face lie. The Lyme disease only came back with a vengeance. With my new dog, we got the Lyme vaccine for him. I don’t want to go through that again so I searched for a product and this one seems to make the most sense for me. I’ve been using it since around April but I was in purchasing it on Amazon. Down that Amazon carries that I’ll be purchasing it on here. So far so good no fleas note sucks that we can see. I will keep you updated on the progress and how this works. I’m hoping that this is the flea and tick preventative that works. It also kills Flea eggs and larva, it helps to repel mosquitoes, which may transmit heartworm disease. Though you should still use the heartworm preventative, this product may help in reducing some of the transmission of heartworm through mosquitoes. It also is supposed to help control lives in aids in the control of sarcoptic Mike’ it also is supposed to help control lies and aids in the control of sarcoptic mites. So it seems to be a very well rounded antiparasitic. Only time will tell though.UPDATE: While I still have not seen any fleas, my dog got anaplasmosis from a tick we did not see. We found out after getting blood work done. I was really hoping the 1 2 punch of this product would work really well. Though to be far, no product one the market can kill 100 percent of fleas and ticks, other wise we would be using it and it would be the only product that everyone would use. I am still using the product, we will see how things go this Spring and Summer. Will update again in the future.

Ive used this product for several years and satisfied with its effectiveness.

We live in the country on a partially wooded lot and this has been the best product I've found for my dogs' lifestyle. No odor, no skin problems on the dogs who have sensitive skin. The one star is for the seller. Topical flea & tick solutions have a one year shelf life. Every single box I've ordered has been expired, but I can't return them because of the chemical content. Waiting to hear back from manufacturer to see if I can get a refund.

Sent me expired product. Check your products carefully people. I bet half these good reviews didn't realize the product was expired.
