Amazing Handheld PC!
Great handheld PC. Punches way above its weight, delivers high framerates and absolutely destroys my ROG Ally and, Legion go. Great 8 inch screen very colorful, that being said I turned up colour saturation and contrast in the Intel control panel, and has very good ergonomics. Another key point that is very important, drivers come directly from Intel so no waiting for manufacturer delays having to customize stock drivers just to work on the device. It will beat out the new Xbox ally X at low wattage while on battery handily. At full wattage it trades blows evenly with the XBox Ally X. The unit has more RAM @ 32gb vs the competition's 24gb of RAM. Also the SSD is twice that of the Xbox ally x, 2tb on claw 8 ai + Polar Tempest edition, and 1tb on the Xbox Ally. Also the upscaling is hardware based as the Intel APU has dedicated hardware for Xess upscaling and frame generation (similar to Nvidia's Dlss), this is superior to software driven upscaling (FSR) on amd based handhelds. Another notable feature that isn't on the competition's handhelds is that the Intel APU has dedicated Cores for Ray Tracing (8 RT cores) which is important for lighting in modern AAA games. Fantastic unit, I highly recommend it.

Amazing handheld
I absolutely love this handheld. I also had the ROG Xbox Ally X at the same time but I preferred the the MSI Claw 8 AI+. Zero issues, easy set up and I found it was playing games smoother than the Xbox Ally X. Buy with confidence. I went with the white version for the look and 2TB storage. If you can find this model, get it.

Best gaming handheld in the market
Best consumer handheld on the market. Tried this head to head with the Xbox Ally X and I felt the larger screen was much nicer to game on.

Fantastic handheld gaming machine
Fantastic little gaming rig. My only gripe is that while they provide grippy rubber on the sides of their controllers, MSI has omitted it from this handheld, leaving me in search of a third-party solution. But that aside, this is a great little unit, plenty powerful and easy to use whether in Windows mode for modding or in game mode for playing.
