In the title role, Lance Crouther glides through the movie like Isaac Hayes's skinny younger brother, while Chris Rock lends his trademark bark to multiple roles, including Pootie's father. Magical and hilarious
This is a laugh out loud amazing comedy starting amazing cast and costume designs a wonderful story the whole family can enjoy. Important messages for children. The only downside is technically you'd be supporting a very icky problematic person ....but if you can put that aside a great movie. Wanda Sykes is a national treasure

If you've never seen this, I highly recommend watching it. Light-hearted and has a good message about the corporations.

This is something that you watch for a cheap comedy with Chris Rock really making it stand out in my opinion. If you can get past the intentional gibberish from the lead it’s pretty funny.

Pootie Tang will draw you a picture of how he gonna kick your ass, then mail it to you ten days in advance. The picture gets there right? You're goin', "What the hell is this?" and then Pootie Tang knocks on your door, Promptly kicks your ass and you still won't know what happened to you!Pootie Tang, the musician/actor/folk hero of the ghetto, is chronicled from his early childhood to his battles against the evil Corporate America, who try to steal his magic belt and make him sell out by endorsing addictive products to his people. Pootie must learn to find himself and defeat the evil corporation for all the young black children of America, supatime.

Well i can't say da ney no my brother, wadahtah!This movie is awesome, one of chris rocks finest.A laugh a minute straight from the beggining.... sepatown.If you haven't seen it and your reading this you might wonder what it is i'm saying....all i gots to say is kapachow!Watch this movie and you will be speaking pootie talk for weeks.A must see for comedy lovers.So say sa-da-tey and feel ok!!

Great DVD if you like Pootie Tang
Bought as a silly stocking filler because it was directed by Louis C.K. And the recipient loves Louis C.K.Delivered in excellent condition.I wouldn't openly encourage anyone to buy this dvd as I heard it was rubbish - I even think Louis C.K. Is embarrased to have his name put to it.
