The sound is like a beautiful painting.. <3
This is my 3rd CD player from Amazon. I got the basic white one that’s a bestseller (the cd plays almost vertically) and the pink music box looking one that went TikTok viral. THIS blows both out of the water. It’s actually much cuter than the pictures may make it look. It’s smoll and cute and the white with the tiny bit of orange gives it a nice aesthetic. It sits nicely on my desk. Now, compared to the white one and the pink music box one, this player’s sound is GORGEOUS. don’t get me wrong, the music box sound is beautiful and I would’ve kept it but it kept making soft popping noises that was really distracting. And the white basic ones sound is.. terrible. For this player, since we’re inching towards that $100 mark, it makes a marked difference. It still has that nice CD ish sound but remains clear and beautiful. The bass is also much better than both players and it doesn’t sound as treble heavy as some of the cheaper options, but actually has a lot of good balance. I can hear everything that I’d be able to hear lossless 320 kpbs with a CD aura. For under $100, it’s amazing. This is the CD player I’d recommend to anyone if they plan on keeping the player for a long time. The clear cover is also really nice bc I can see the cd but I’m protecting the lens from dust. I also enjoyed the track timer on the side a lot more than I thought I would. I didn’t miss it with the other players, but it’s nice to have. The sound… I can’t get over the sound. It’s just such a pretty vibe. Like, if you romanticize what a cd player might sound like in your head, this player is what it would sound like. It’s quite beautiful. And again, it’s cute. I thought the pink music box would be the cutest player, but this one maybe bc it’s flatter, is a lot more adorable. I will update my review in a few weeks to see if the player holds up. I know my video has a fast song, but even with the slower softer songs, there’s no popping or defects. Very nice. I CAN HEAR EVERY INSTRUMENT.

A phenomenal cd player for low price
I bought this cd player expecting mediocre sound quality. And wow, did it exceed my expectations. The sound quality is fantastic for the price and the design is minimalistic and compact while functional. The player also won’t skip when bumped into or even moved around from room to room. The volume can be adjusted with an analog dial that is precise, which I love. It can also be charged and doesn’t have to be plugged in for use. I love the clear door on the top of the player which gives it a sleek, modern look while preventing dust buildup inside the player. This cd player is fantastic overall for its low price. Highly recommend to anyone on a budget looking for a stylish yet high quality CD player.

Cute aesthetic
I recently picked up this adorable CD Bluetooth player, and I’m honestly in love with it! It has such a charming design that gives off vintage record player vibes, which immediately makes it a centerpiece in my room. The lift-top lid might be my favorite part. It looks really cute when I cover it with stickers. The little screen on the front is surprisingly handy; it clearly shows the different modes like Bluetooth, CD, and auxiliary, so switching between ways to play music is super easy. I’ve been streaming playlists from my phone one moment, then popping in my favorite K-pop CD. The sound is not incredibly loud but perfect for a jam session in the room; it has more than enough volume.

Nice affordable way to play your CD collection.
This hooked up nicely to my Bose sound bar that was bought for the TV but not needed anymore. I sat the two on a narrow shelf and hooked the two together with the cable that either came with the Bose or Leapwell. The sound is great. It all works great I haven’t tried the radio. I just wanted to be able to play my CDs, and, although the sound is OK through the unit itself, it is very rich and full when coming through the Bose. I could not get it to connect to the Bose through Bluetooth.

Glitchy Unit
Seemed a sturdy little unit with nice build quality. Sound is not amazing, but not bad. Sounds about as good as a clock radio would. NOTE: Unit does not have 2 speakers. The images seem to show two, but it is really a single speaker on the left with some type of passive radiator on the right side. Sound only comes from the speaker on the left. Recently, however, I've started experiencing glitchy operation--unfortunately, after the return period :-/ Sometimes the unit will play for a minute into the first track of a disc, then emit a series of tones, and then shut off. (I can usually power the unit on and off a few times to 'fix' this issue.) This can happen during both battery and AC operation. It is an intermittent issue. Also, using the remote will occasionally power the entire unit down--when attempting a function that has nothing to do with power. Odd. Adjust the volume or skip a track, and then the player shuts off entirely. If the unit works from the start when it's powered on, it's usually good. However, it sometimes requires a 'reboot' to get everything right. Perhaps I just had the misfortune of receiving a player with these tech issues.

I've had an increasing affection for my CD player. I even take it in the car for long drives.
I love this little player. It has better sound than my iPad for listening to recorded books. You just have to change the discs more often. And keep it charged. But there's something nice about CD's. You own them. I've had books taken from me, books I paid for on Audible because I didn't pay full price.....it was somewhat lunatic because on Audible you pay about 17 a month and sometimes you buy books that are worth less and sometimes they're worth more...and I have this sneaking feeling that one day......all of that could go away. It very nearly did at one point. So many books they just removed them and I'd paid for all of them. So I'm very glad for my CD's and my books. For music, it's not going to reverberate across the room and shake the rafters. I tried to pair it through blue tooth with my Boze but I never succeeded. Perhaps someone else will.

The battery life is really, really bad!
Great and balanced sound from such a small speaker, and you can even attach external speakers. Unit seems sturdy and well-made. It also has an FM tuner which is nice. The unit runs very well off a live USB current. However, the downside of the Leapwell CD player - and this is a BIG problem - is the internal battery charges VERY slowly - it takes about 4 hours to charge. And when you finally charge it, guess what? The charge lasts for a ridiculously short amount of time - like 30 minutes of play - maybe 6 songs at the most - before it reaches a very low point (one bar on the charge indicator) and the player starts sounding a loud "double beep" every 1-2 minutes or so to warn you of the low charge. The constant loud double beeping totally interferes with the music and can only be stopped by plugging the live USB connection back in. The battery life is really, really bad. A really huge problem on what is otherwise a nice CD player. So overall, this player seemed promising but in actuality turned out to be quite a disappointment.

Buen regalo.
