no switched 12 v support
SO, I'm learning that the mercedes do not provide 12v switched power, they provide 4 v switched poer because of the CAN Bus system.. so you need to find another place for the switched 12v. There are products out there that can help with this.. this is not one of them.

Perfect fit for 2016 Mercedes Sprinter 3500
Fit my 2017 Thor Citation. Which is a 2016 Sprinter knock down. 2017 is the last year of German built ones.

Do your research first
I have a 2012 Sprinter that came with the OEM basic Sound 5 CD/Radio, without steering wheel controls - as basic as they come. This harness, while it does physically plug into the factory harness connector, does NOT match the wiring at all.Additionally, as I found after I tried to make this work, the Sound 5 connects to the CANBUS and the vehicle requires a separate module to properly operate 3rd party headunits, so this harness is basically useless. Perhaps other trim levels have a "dumb" AM/FM radio that this would work with.

Not even close on a 2016 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter
Does NOT fit my factory radio and last time I checked 2016 falls between 2010 and 2017. This is the 3rd sad attempt at finding the correct adapter.
