Nordic Ware9 by 13 Inch Plastic Storage Lid, Translucent

I put that in the title because it seems somebody else thought universal meant universal to all pans. It means universal to Nordic Ware pans of the 9X13 size (which are the ones mentioned in the title).I ordered 3 and one came damaged (there was a crack in the plastic). They seem pretty durable otherwise (considering they are plastic). I am changing out all of my pans to Nordic Ware for their durability and the fact they don't rust and I LOVE the lids. We live out of the country and make a lot of our food from scratch. We also have a large family so I make a large batch of our meals and put one or 2 extra in the freezer to save for another day (if not for this, I'd be in the kitchen all day, every day). Before the lids, I would put tin foil or plastic wrap on them but I couldn't put things on top each other. I still use plastic wrap for extra freezer-burn protection but put the lid on top of that and stack them on top of each other. They are also so great when I make cupcakes in the Nordic Ware muffin tins. I can frost them and put the lid on top (As long as the muffins aren't huge) and I don't have to worry about frosting getting everywhere or the cupcakes turning on their side in the pan. I also think they are great when we take a cake or brownies anywhere: I don't have to worry about flies or anything landing on it while we wait to eat and I don't have to mess with the plastic wrap or foil (which is nice when you have 4 kids you are trying to get ready and are in a rush)...not to mention that I don't have to buy as much foil or plastic wrap as well!!!

Edited to add:3 years later I am still using the two lids I bought, and I wanted to comment that these lids are designed to fit Nordic Ware pans. They are not universal lids.Original Review:I wish they sold all of these pans with covers. So much better than using aluminum foil. I use it with the pan for freezing little things like cheese rolls, which I then take out a few at a time to bake. If you are going to freeze anything in your Nordic Ware pan, though, be sure to cover the bottom with parchment paper, aluminum foil, or plastic wrap. Things stick a tiny bit to the aluminum when freezing, and when you pull them out, they cause little dents in the material. I have one pan that now looks quite ugly.

I purchased this as a cover for the matching pan. I was pleased when Amazon quickly sent a replacement for the first one that arrived damaged! The customer service is fantastic! The replacement lid doesn't fit as tight as I had hoped it would and just has a gentle grip on the ends where the handles are. It is fairly strong plastic though, and with hand washing and good care I predict it will last many years.

I bought this for my 9x13 baking pan and it’s too small. It does however fit my quarter size cookie sheet so that’s nice.

The packaging was great ... In the box with other stuff. The lid looked perfect I was so excited to get a replacement for an old broken hard plastic lid...Til I tried it on my 9X13 pan didn't fit. So I thought ok maybe it'll work on my 9X13 Pyrex dish ... That didn't fit either so I kept the lid and I'm gonna try to find a pan on Amazon that it'll fit because it's a good quality plastic cover and I'm always needing one for church meals

I bought these because I also have the large ones. The cover fits well and no more plastic wrap.

Had been looking for a 9x13 cover for square pan for carrying desserts to family functions, this fell short of fitting the external rim to seal my 9x13. Sorry, it was returned

I bought this cover to replace a damaged cover. At the same time I bought the Nordic Ware 13" x 9" pan sold with metal cover. It will not work as a substitute cover with that model. It IS NOT a universal cover for all Nordic Ware 13" x 9" bake pans. Even within the Nordic Ware product line it IS NOT a universal cover. As a replacement cover to match same model it was made for, it functions perfectly.

Size not right; ad misleading.

It was well worth the cost of postage.
