Best food for My Poodle
My fur has a sensitive skin and is real picky with his food. I switched from CORE which is an awesome brand but the cost was so outrageous. I did my research and found this Brand, Blackwood Pet All Life Stages, Special Diet and Sensitive Skin. My Poodle loves it. I hope the cost doesn't continue to go up. I purchase the 5 LBs bag this time as the other to heavy for me and they leave in a place I need to walk to pick up. Try this food for your fur you won't be disappointed. Thanks for the fast delivery!

My dog is a rescue and turned out to be a picky eater. He does like this food, and the nutritional profile seems to be good.

Best food
Our dog has an extremely sensitive stomach and all other dog foods seem to make him sick. We had even tried prescription foods with no success. Blackwood has been a true blessing for our dog. Plus he loves the flavors. We usually stick with salmon or lamb.

Quality Made-in-the-USA Kibble for a Small Breed That Is Gentle On GI Tract
My teacup chihuahua loves this dog food and it’s nice that it’s small enough of a kibble for him to eat without a problem and he loves it. It has a nice meat-like smell. I like the fact that it doesn’t have any artificial colors or artificial flavors. When I changed him over to this it didn’t cause any GI upset, which is great. No gas or diarrhea. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quality made-in-the-USA kibble for a small breed that is gentle on their stomach.

They sent the wrong flavor
I had ordered the salmon and they sent the chicken and lamb. My dogs have an allergy to chicken. It’s a shame I liked this brand but I really don’t want to ever order again because I don’t want to get the wrong flavor.

Blackwood 5000 CONTAINS CHICKEN
Riggins passed during the night. The president at Blackwood Dog Food and their marketing director stated to me “the ingredients on the bag of dog food DO NOT have to match the food that is in the bag”. The president also told me that “dogs are NOT ALLERGIC to chicken”. I asked them “so, when I buy dog food from any company, the food in the bag could have chicken in the ingredients but not show chicken on the bag ingredients”. Well, evidently, that’s the way Blackwood Dog Food rolls! Their site says one list of ingredients, their bag says one list of ingredients and they state the food in the bag matches the ingredients on the site, not on the bag! Unfortunately, Riggins lost his life because we believed their Blackwood 5000 didn’t contain chicken - per their site.Riggins was a 1 1/2 year old Great Dane that was EXTREMELY allergic to chicken. Riggins went into anaphylactic shock a few days after being on Blackwood 5000 that was stated on the Blackwood site as not containing chicken meal.
