Lipper International 8701G Rolling Platform for Mixers and Appliances, 15-3/4" x 11-7/8" x 2-1/8", Grey

I bought this mixer platform because I can’t lift or move my new KitchenAid mixer due to the weight. This platform works great for its intended purpose. It rolls smoothly and locks in place easily. The mixer fits on it with a little space to spare. The platform appears to be heavy duty enough to last for a long time, since it’s metal, not plastic. However, the design of the metal joints is bad. There are gaps on the top of the sides (see photos) and on the inside bottom edge, where the pieces of metal are riveted together. The first time I used the mixer on it, I had powdered baking mix splash out and onto the side and into the tray. The spill goes right into those gaps and it will be next to impossible to get it out. I have written to the company about this problem and am waiting for their response. Possibly a bead of clear caulk along these gaps would work, but I don’t think I should have to do anything like that myself. I also thought about folding a piece of aluminum foil over the top of the sides and along the inside edge before using. This particular mixer platform seemed like the best option available, so I will probably keep it.

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I have a KitchenAid 7Qt Pro series, and it is quite heavy. You just don't want to pick it up unless your life depends on it...literally!I looked at several options and knew when I saw the video of this product online with a Kitchenaid stand mixer on it, I decided to buy it. It is perfect, very sturdy and well built. It looks like it will hold up to the behemoth stand mixer with no issues.I don't write alot of reviews, but wanted to let those with the heavy stand mixers know that this is definitely what you're looking for. Don't scrimp on something cheaper, because you will probably need to replace it at some point. Rest assured you will be very happy with this one!

Got it for a specific area of counter hoping it would work perfectly beside my marble pastry slab. Unfortunately the measurements in product title (15-3/4" x 11-7/8" x 2-1/8") are misleading because that measurement does not include the levers on either side. The description in the "product information" area on size (2.4 x 16.1 x 15.2") is more accurate to the true size, I guess I overlooked that and do wish they would take the measurements out of the title as that is actually more the measurements of the platform so not the true size of the item.That misrepresentation meant I could not put it side-by-side on the more narrow section of counter I hoped to BUT it is such a wonderfully made and useful rolling platform (and likely the only one suited for a Pro 600 kitchenaid mixer) that I decided to reorganize my kitchen to make it work.It really is an EXCELLENT product, solid build quality and moves a heavy appliance with ease. It can be a wee bit tricky to clean after the inevitable flour from mixing takes flight but it is worth the tradeoff to no longer have to lug my mixer from a far corner.

i am so pleased that i bought this device! it was next to impossible trying to find this or any device like it by searching on google or even amazon, although i could've zonked out on my search day! i just think that the need for this device is more than most realize if you have a hard time lifting 25+ pounds of weight! i've placed my kitchenaid mixer on a small kitchen counter! the clearance when rolling under kitchen cabinets for the swivel-head kitchenaid artisan mixer is perfect for my counter on this device! i can roll the mixer out straight from its location or do a swivel by lightly turning a corner sideways! the device seems very sturdy and well made! however, with almost everything made in this day and time, the device may not last like i think and hope that it will, only time will tell! kudos to the genius that invented or made this device, it saved me having to make my own! i highly----highly recommend this device to any and everyone that needs a small counter transporter for any 25 pound or less small counter appliance!

These are great for your heavier small appliances like standing mixers and food processors. Not having a baking station and getting older, it was not only getting tiresome hauling these items out of their cabinet hideyholes, with back issues, I was getting concerned of doing further harm to my spine. I had enough room on my counters to have them out, but here again, I'd have to pull them away from the back of the counter to use them so had the same issue. These were the perfect solution. Where the appliance sits is barely elevated so it doesn't add appreciable height to the appliance and still fits easily under cabinets. With an easy unlock/lock, this glides easily over my tiled counters to whatever position is best for me to use. Great find!

I need a rolling caddy that was wide enough to hold my Keurig K-Elite, so that I could roll my Keurig forward when I needed to add water to it. I'm really happy with this caddy, and I especially like that it has brakes. The widest point of the caddy are the brake handles, which measure 14 3/4" from outside to outside, when measuring them at the very front of the caddy. I didn't realize this, and I had to move my Keurig to a wider area on my counter, but that worked out better for me anyway. I have my Keurig placed a bit more forward on the caddy, and I still have a little bit of room behind the Keurig on the caddy.

The dimensions given are outside measurements; the actual working width is less by 1”, thus it was too narrow for my espresso machine, but this is a great addition if your appliance will fit.

I had previously bought a plastic rolling countertop tray for my espresso machine, because there is not a lot of room to access the water fill. While the product did indicate that the weight would be no problem, the wheels broke a short period after use. I bought this as a replacement. This tray is easy to use, firmly holds when locked, and easily handles the weight of the machine. I absolutely recommend it if you have a machine that is larger than a typical “mr coffee” sized machine, such as a stand mixer.

It was difficult for me to move my mixer out on the work surface when I wanted to use it, and for that reason I didn't use it very often. I searched everywhere for a solution! It was totally worth the wait. (It was on backorder) It's well made. It rolls back and forth easily, then I turn it sideways a bit, that works too. Doesn't mark the counter. It has 'breaks' and stays put when I'm using it. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat! The only thing I don't like is the edges around it, it makes it harder to clean, i.e. I had flour on the stand after using the pasta attachment. I just vacuumed it off, that was a simple solution. This was a great find!

I have a large stand mixer that weighs about 25 lbs. It now sits in the Lipper International 8701G Rolling Platform and moves easily on my countertop. It is sturdy and well made. It is well priced. It is an excellent value. The only complaint is that it has a small lip at the front which makes cleaning the surface a little challenging. The advantages far outweigh the inconvenience. Love it.

The handles sticking out are less than desirable in terms of aesthetics, but functionally it is very sturdy and it handles a heavy appliance like a charm. I have full confidence in the build quality.

A GREAT SHOULDER SAVER. NO NEED TO LIFT HEAVY APPLIANCES. JUST ROLL THEM OUT OF THE CORNER.
