Great contents; poor binding
This book was everything I was hoping for in a how-to book on bullet journals. I've been curious about bullet journals but I can't draw and didn't think I could be successful. But this book has great layout ideas and step-by-step instructions on how to make them, including the art and doodles. My pages look amazing and I'm beginning to design my own based on the suggestions in the book about how to modify their designs, and inspiration is everywhere. The one thing that is not good is the binding - the pages are falling out. I've had the book for about two months, and I don't use it every day, and the pages that are falling out aren't the ones I've turned to. Last night a clump of 12 pages came out. For a book that I use as a reference this is not good.

Different ways to bullet journal
This book is well written for those looking for ways to use a bullet journal. Unfortunately I was looking for a book with ways to wreck your journal. Things to make your journal yours and ways to express yourself more, like making a collage page or an art page.

Okay
This book is ok. I will use for inspiration on lettering and maybe layouts and doodling but other than that I do not see myself referring to this much. This would probably be great for a child but as an adult there's nothing surprising here or even super unique.

It’s not about Journals. It’s about Day Planners
The book was not at all what I expected because I was expecting something about journals. It is about hand creating your own day planner every week. I’m not sure why anyone would want to do that because you’d have to keep a separate day planner to keep track of your appointments that were more than a week out, but perhaps this is appropriate for an audience I don’t belong too. I think that it would be a very interesting book to look at because the photography is good and the pages shown are very colorful. The problem is when a photograph is spread across two pages. A large chunk of it is inside the spine of the book so that you can’t really see what the page looks like. You can read the instructions and look at the rest of the page and guess, but it would obviously be better if you could just look at the book. I was really disappointed with this purchase. I will say that if you want to create your own day planner every week, there are a LOT of ideas in this book.

Bullet journal idea book
This book is helpful for people trying to fully utilize their bullet journal. It has color photos of example pages that work. 4 pages in particular justified the price of the book, as they will increase productivity.

Great information for beginning journalists or those needing inspiration
Bought this for our granddaughter to organize and memorialize her year as President of her college sorority. It is an excellent book full of tips and techniques, supply needs, and a wide variety of planner ideas. It is a smaller size which is perfect for her in her limited space.

Lark Craft Books has another great book for you
Highly recommend this book for your creative journaling purposes!!!! I’m a Lark book lover. Their Arts and Craft books always provide you with unique ideas that you won’t see everyday and they’ve done it with this new craft as well! Such unique creative layouts using any ordinary notebook and turning it into real Eye Candy pages! Great book, at a great price.

Good book but needs support
The book has a lot of information that will help me get what I need to get started. Unfortunately the book itself was not bound together efficiently. The first few pages fell out as I read the book and this is was the first day of me reading the book. I just didn't feel like sending it back.

The book is improperly bound
This doesn't affect the overall advice/tips with this book, however, I found it really annoying that the layout illustrations were bound through the centre spread. In the photo example provided you can see that there is a "Daily Doing" calendar layout...and you can clearly see dates 1-8 on the left-hand page, then 9-19 are in the bind, and it continues with 20-30 on the right-hand page. Or in the "What's for Dinner Meal Plan" illustration the "lamb, fish, pasta and other" is through the centre bind. Like you have to Gestalt translate the full illustration to fill in the blanks. It's just annoying that the full illustrations are cut off in the bind. Other than that, it's a really cute book.
