Can I use these for both walking and running?

Yes! I use them for both as I cross train running and walking - usually up to 10 miles and these shoes are great!

Question 2

I'm looking for shoes for underpronation (supination). A web page I found recommended these. Can anyone tell me if they know these are good for that?

Although another commenter here indicated that a person who underpronated  ( she has supination) was not happy with the Ryka Women's Influence Trainer, my experience was quite the opposite. I found that these shoes are uniquely very comfortable for me.  Not only do I have supination, (high arches), my left foot has a bunion and my right foot has a problem called a Hallux varus. This is a condition affecting the big toe. As opposed to a bunion, which causes the big toe to point inward toward the other toes, hallux varus causes the big toe to point away from the other toes. This is a result of a bunionectomy that did not heal correctly. My second toe on the hallux varus foot was fractured in a bike vs car accident- and it is also problematic. I LOVE the Ryka Influence Cross Trainer. The roomy toe box is wonderful. I just bought my third pair. Maybe you might just try them on and see for yourself.

Does this sneaker have a removable insole? Thanks.

Yes, it does! I didn't think so when I first looked, but you can remove the insole with a fingernail between the wall of the shoe and the edge of the insole. I don't think they're washable though...perhaps hand wash but definitely not machine washable, at least I wouldn't risk it. Hope this helps! I learned something so thanks!

Are these shoes flexible

I wear these for kick boxing and there’s enough flexibility for that. Was exactly what I was looking for.
