VELO Gel Tech Bicycle Seat Cover (Large) Black

The first seat cover I purchased was too small, so I sent it back. Thankfully Amazon has a great return policy. The first one had no dimensions in the product information section nor did it state a size any place else. This seat I noticed clearly says LARGE, so I am going out on a limb and hoping this one fits my girls 24" cruiser style bike. I will take some dimensions and post here if this seat cover actually fits. Overall it's a well made product but not as heavy as the first one that was too small. I'd say pay attention to the shipping weight here, the heavier it is the thicker the gel pad is.PS. Wow I got the seat cover in two days! It fits like a glove. My seat size for afore mentioned bike was 11 x 10 x 3". It really needs to be stated clearly in the product information for all bike seat covers! This probably won't fit an adult sized cruiser style saddle seat. This one just barely fit and should stretch out just a tad which will enable me to tighted the drawstring. Exactly what I wanted to cover up an ugly white seat on a new bike.

I have a special seat that has no front pointed part. The two butt cheek sections rock and the purpose is to save killing a man's prostrate. I got this extra wide seat pad for comfort and sciatic nerve sensitivity. It has a good, thick gel amount that is sewed into a material that appears strong enough. This has also got rained on a few times over night and seems to shed and dry fast. The only negative is, that after tightening the string that pulls it into the shape of the seat, make sure you tie that string to your seat. I lost my first cover due to the fact that the little plastic string holder that takes the place of making a knot on the string, slipped loose and came of and I did not even notice till I got home. I would recommend this for comfort, large fit, durability, water shedding and price. Just remember to tie it to your seat frame so you don't loose it. I bought the 2nd one..cheaper and better value than you will find at the "Mart" stores.

I didn't get this for comfort but to add some extra height. I had to buy this bike in a hurry after my previous one was stolen so the frame is a little small. Even though the seat post is as high as possible, I need some more height so a gel seat cover provides another half to whole inch. It does do that. However, it constantly slides off because the depth isn't enough to cover the seat. It isn't able to tighten under the seat because of this. It's so close but just not enough.

I ordered this seat cover with my Marcy Upright Mag Cycle exercise bike because the reviewers said the seat was uncomfortable. Ordered it on July 26th and received it on August 2nd. It is well constructed and a very snug fit for the seat, but if you open the drawstrings all the way, and put it on starting with the front and doing both sides of the back at the same time, it fits great. My only complaint is that it adds just a thin layer of padding and really doesn't provide that much in the way of extra comfort. It's a waste of money if someone is looking for extra padding to provide comfort. Great for covering an old, beat up bike seat, but I would not recommend it if added comfort is what you are seeking.

It fit my bike with no problem. It does help quite a bit. The only problem is that it makes me slip forward and I have to adjust my backside fairly frequently while I am exercising.

The added cushion makes the ride easier. Just a little more cushion helps me reach my goal of adding more minutes to the next ride.

My wife has an old large seat on her bike and the previous cover she bought was getting ragged and falling off. This is a much better solution. She finds it extremely comfortable, fits well and stays in place. Definitely a great buy.

This seat cover is comfortable and easy to put on. However, as with all seat covers, you should not buy it until you've made sure it's the correct size/measurements.In case it's helpful, I've tested this seat cover with the Schwinn AD2 Airdyne exercise bike, and it fits perfectly.

Il coprisella è ottimo, calza perfettamente sul mio sellino (acquistato sempre su Amazon, sellino NON sportivo, ampio e in gel anch'esso) e attutisce gli sbalzi.Il motivo dell'acquisto tuttavia era un altro, ossia evitare (o comunque limitare) il danneggiamento dei pantaloni dell'abito dovuto allo sfregamento. Non so ancora se funziona bene da questo punto di vista, ma credo di sì. La caratteristica inaspettata è la capacità di tornare asciutto quasi immediatamente anche dopo ore di pioggia. Mi sarei aspettato assorbisse l'acqua per poi essere inutilizzabile per ore/giorni, ma riesce a non trattenerla e dopo poche ore è pronto per l'uso. Davvero un ottima notizia. Consigliato.

Wir nutzen mehrere dieser Satteldecken auf verschiedenen Reise- und Falt-Fahrrädern. Sie halten viele Jahre tgl. auf dem Arbeitsweg, ins Sportstudio, auf über 1000 km-Urlaubsradreisen. Es gibt keine Materialprobleme, weder im Sommer bei großer Hitze noch bei starker Kälte im Winter. Alle Nähte halten. Irgendwann scheuert das glatte verschleißarme Material oben im Bereich der Sitzknochen durch, das dauert Jahre. Bei Regen schützen wir Satteldecke und Sattel mit einer Plastiktüte. VOLLE KAUFEMPFEHLUNG!
