It’s perfect!
I searched high and low for a flat bottom ‘tadka’ pan to use on my electric hob. This is perfect for the job. It has a thick bottom so you can get the oil quite hot. The handle is metal but has never got hot. It stands well due to the bend in the handle, no need to mess about once placed down. I’d buy it again.

Great utility tadka pan
As someone, who likes to add an extra tadka to add some more flavour to my curries, this small tadka pan is quite handy, very easy to clean and store as well!

Good Product.
Really chuffed with the purchase. It ha a flat bottom with raised sides thus giving enough depth to fill with tempering spices to roast or fry to garnish daals, raitas, etc. I will recommend this product. However, I will strongly advise not to wash this item in the dishwasher as it removes the non-stick coating from the pan.

Handy, but not for everyone
It's a good product. I had to return mine. But by the looks of it, seems sturdy and will do what it says. My return was purely out of the uncomfortable handle, the bent that is supposed to let it stay on stove top is not deep enough, so if you have a stovetop which is slightly tall, I believe most are, then "Warning" - buy this only if you can hold it and cook, would be a struggle to leave and go as it might go off balance and fall.

Well-sized and good quality
This is a lightweight pan and does the job well. The pan is sufficiently large with a riveted handle. It should hopefully survive a couple of years of moderate to heavy use. The shape of the handle also acts as a support to the pan when placed on a flat stove top.

Does the job
Deep enough to keep all of the condiments in the oil from splattering. and handle long enough to get into the Dal safely. Small enough to store easily..I like it!

Easy to clean and convenient size
I bought it for the sleek handle design. While is so easy to clean and minimal, unlike the thicker plastic handle which invariably gather grime after a while. The size is big. Big enough for fried onion tadkas, egg poach or heating dal/sabzi for one person.Quite happy with the purchase

A must for a Indian Kitchen
A Indian kitchen can not work with out Tadka , and often we use an assortment of devices to do the tadka .1. This is a great utility as works wonderfully to add that special flavor to your food.2. Its hard anodized so no burns or black marks as would be the case on various other contraptions used for the purpose.3. Long handle - keeps the heat away.4. Handle has a resting point to help it hold on the burner by itself while you pick the condiments. The only con I could notice was more to do with the design 0f the pan - If the resting notch would have been little longer then what it is - it would have adjusted to the height of burner and would have evenly rested on the stove. In a current design as the pan and the notch are same level when you leave it on the burner - the pan is tilted towards you . Hope this is modified and you see a new avatar in near future.
