Review: Very good all-in-one printer - I have had this item for a few weeks now, and i have to say i am more than impressed. Product was delivered on time, and in perfect condition. The set-up was fairly easy, although i will say that the set-up didnt get along too well with the Panda Antivirus on my PC, and i had to disable some features of the program to complete the instalation successfully. The printer connected to my wireless home network with no problems at all, and has been working fine ever since. Print quality and speed is good, a little better than i was expecting actually. I have also printed a few photo's onto the HP Genuine photo paper, which are great quality! Scanning is easy and decent quality...copying is also easy, the small touch screen makes the printer very easy to use for copying when the PC is not turned on. Its not the quietest printer in the world, but this does not bother me in the slightest, i mean, i dont plan to get 40 winks while im using the damn thing. However if a quiet printer is something you are looking for, then you should probably choose another product. Overall a fantastic product that does all i need it to and for a very good price. Review: Printer that actually does what it is suppoosed to - Hi All, I read many reviews of HP latest batch of printers and was massively disappointed by the reviews and the difficulties many were having in getting them setup and the poor print quality. I am happy to say that I have had no such issues (touch wood) the printer has installed and run without an issue. I do however find it strange that it does not like to be connected to the network by wire and wireless at the same time. I too remain disappointed at the price of HP ink cartridges, there simply cannot be a justification for such high prices when colour printing is very much the norm these days. I believe there needs to be a revolution in ink pricing. Manufacturers by all means charge a premium for Photo-quality, but for everyday colour printing we need a better solution or you will drive us to aftermarket cartridges, especially as printers are increasingly seen as disposable after 2 years and you do not provide extended warranty cover. In summary good printer, OK footprint, even photo quality printing is good, its relatively fast and so far I am still running on the cartridges that came in the box...
