Works great, makes great tea, good coffee, and doesn't cost much
Being a person who sometimes drinks a lot of tea and coffee, now for instance, I have become frustrated with Keurig systems. For one thing, I think the whole concept is a rip off. They put a little bit of coffee grounds or ground tea in a little plastic cup and let it dry out and sit in warehouses for a long time and then in cardboard boxes in box stores and then finally sell it to a customer who lets it set in the cupboard for a few weeks and finally puts it in the machine and gets the machine to ooze some hot water through it. From a plastic tank attached to the machine that holds the water for some indeterminate amount of time possibly growing who knows what in it or the filter. Finally this coffee rinse of the stuff in the plastic cup is what you drink and it is probably around $1.00 a cup. But if one dumps enough creamers and sweeteners in it is can be drunk. I tried a tea pot on the stove. I went back to the percolator coffee pot as of old. I used a coffee grinder and experimented with different grinds of various roasted beans, and I ordered a bunch of different loose leaf tea. (Did you know that tea all comes from the same plant Camellia Sinensis? All the differences between white, green, black and others is in the planting, harvesting, processing, soil, and climate.) It is too be remembered that people got on ships and pulled up along side each other and blasted away with cannons over this stuff. Fortunes were built and lost, borders of countries changed, and great meetings that took months went on over cargos of this stuff. Now in most grocery stores you can't even find loose tea. Tea is in little bags, made out of who knows what, tied with stings of who knows what, containing what is tea treated who knows how, that you dip in hot water and if you are British (well what used to be Brits, I don't know if the Muslims even drink tea) you are supposed to be refreshed. So, to cut to the chase, I bought this handy thing that makes both tea and coffee with a minimum of fuss. One puts ground coffee (I use freshly ground beans, but coffee out of a can will do) in the screen thing that hangs in the pot, fill the pot to the line with water, and set it on the heating pad and click the little button on the handle to 200 degrees and walk away. It will heat to 200 degrees and then turn off. The coffee steeps in the hot water and I have depending on the size of the pot about a liter and a half of coffee. This is a fraction of the price one pays for Keurig coffee. It is fresh water made with fresh beans and it is pretty good. There are four settings on the handle. To make tea one has a choice of four temperatures. One just puts loose leaf tea in the sieve thing that hands in the pot, clicks the setting and walks away. One usually lets it steep for a few minutes depending on the temperature chosen and the type of tea. One puts ground coffee (I use freshly ground beans, but coffee out of a can will do) in the screen thing that hangs in the pot, fill the pot to the line with water, and set it on the heating pad and click the little button on the handle to 200 degrees and walk away. One usually lets it steep for a few minutes depending on the temperature chosen and the type of tea. In all of this, the manipulation time is very low. The pot is easy to clean and the sieve dumps out and one has a clean system to make the tea and/or coffee. Oils and other residue on the beverage apparatus really do affect the taste. I ordered the 1.8 liter pot. I have an old thermos where I pour the extra after I take my cupful for later. Since one is not really paying much for more for the ground coffee or loose leaf tea, it is okay to just pour the extra down the drain. One thing about loose leaf tea especially green tea, one can just refill the pot and make another pot of tea and use the same tea leaves still in the diffuser. It really turns out about the same. I like gun powder tea which is a green tea that looks like—you guessed it, gun powder. I also like the Ahmad black English Breakfast. I like to use a little bit of raw (unpasteurized) unfiltered honey and a little cinnamon in my coffee and tea. Usually skipping the cinnamon about half the time. And don't forget the price. This magical device is about $29.

A Feature-Rich Kettle at a Reasonable Price Point
A few years ago, I scoffed at the idea of buying a kettle. My kitchen is cluttered with a Keurig coffee maker, an air fryer, an indoor grill, a rice cooker, a pressure cooker, a fryer etc. The idea of adding one more item just for hot water seemed off-putting and unnecessary. After all, I know exactly how to make hot water easily; 3 minutes of microwaving a cup of water. But one of the outcomes of the pandemic is that I went from being a frequent tea drinker to becoming a prolific one. And microwaving cups of water became a consistent inconvenience. And so I began looking at getting a kettle. I had settled on certain metallic ones I saw, because plastic is to be avoided like the plague, because of the health risk. One item immediately caught my eye with this kettle: the tea infuser. I have not seen that feature with any other kettle. And I have some Japanese green tea that are quite tedious to consume because they come in tiny bits of leaves. From research, these are must haves in a kettle: 1) A keep-warm function; 2) Auto shut off, and 3) Boil dry protection. This kettle has these features and adds a few more. It shuts off automatically once the water reaches the desired temperature. It emits one loud beep to alert the user that the water is ready to be poured. Activating the keep-warm feature was not necessarily intuitive. One must depress the power button until the kettle beeps, and then the red light circle will continue to blink, indicating that the function is active. I nearly passed this kettle up because I thought it was plastic. It is made of a robust glass (although the lid is plastic or rubber and the base is metallic) which is obviously more fragile than the metal ones I was considering. But the advantage of being able to tell the water level without even having to open the kettle cannot be overstated. It is a handsome kettle, with a large, comfortable handle. This kettle is larger than I envisioned, but better too big than too small. I did not up until now, know that different teas require different temperatures. I am a veteran of many hotels and such, particularly in the UK, where they tend to have kettles in the rooms. I have never seen a kettle that is versatile enough to provide different temperatures for different teas at the press of a button. The color ring at the base of the kettle indicates what type of tea the temperature is for (green, for green tea, at 175 degrees, blue for white tea or more delicate blends at 185 degrees, yellow for Oolong tea, at 195 degrees, purple for French press coffee at 200 degrees, red which is the default setting, for black tea, herbal tea and any other purpose). In short, this is the most feature-rich kettle I have ever seen, all at quite a reasonable price point. I also have other needs for hot water, including declogging sinks and such, and this kettle makes heating up water a breee. N.B. Quality control might be a bit lacking because the first kettle I received had a large chip which had broken off from the handle. I immediately exchanged it, and the new one had no such defect. But for that, this kettle has exceeded my expectations.

Large Capacity, Simple to Use, and Great Temperature Control
Yes — the Chefman digital kettle review. And based on everything you've told me about actually using it, I agree: your one criticism isn't significant enough to deduct a star. This sounds like a genuine 5-star review with one minor drawback, rather than pretending the product is flawless. The key point we established was that you mostly use the kettle without the tea infuser. When you do use the infuser, small tea dregs can escape, float in the water, and then get caught against the spout strainer when pouring. You also found that the infuser needs to be attached and detached gently because it could potentially be damaged if handled too forcefully. On the positive side, you particularly like the easy temperature selection and the corresponding colored indicator lights, and you use it primarily for heating water for tea. So I would frame the rating as: ★★★★★ 5/5 — Excellent kettle; minor infuser issue The important thing is not to exaggerate the con. Something can have a small annoyance and still deserve five stars. In fact, mentioning it makes your five-star rating more credible because you're explaining what you don't love as well as what you do. And when your sister films you, we can turn your actual demonstration into the final Amazon video-review script rather than making it sound like an advertisement. Im ready for review Absolutely. Here's a natural Amazon review script based on how you actually use the Chefman digital kettle: I give this Chefman digital kettle five stars. I use this kettle regularly for making tea, and one of my favorite features is being able to select the temperature instead of heating every tea to the same temperature. The different colored lights also make it easy to tell which temperature setting I've selected. It comes with a removable tea infuser, although most of the time I use the kettle just to heat my water because I make different kinds of loose-leaf tea. I do have one minor complaint about the infuser. With some loose teas, very small pieces can get through it and end up in the water. They can collect around the strainer at the spout when you pour. I also recommend being gentle when attaching and removing the infuser. Neither issue has been enough for me to take away a star. The kettle heats my water well, the temperature settings are useful, and it's something I actually use regularly. For me, it's a five-star product. For the video, you don't need to memorize that word-for-word. Have your sister film while you show the kettle, select a temperature, show the light, remove/show the infuser, and pour some water. Talk through it naturally as you demonstrate it—that will come across much better than reading a script. Um rewrite please and only the chefman an mentioni get tge two quart size servingsbefore needing refill. And with my olfd home i dontvhavecfrustration of plugvadapters Chefman Digital Kettle — ★★★★★ I've been very happy with my Chefman digital kettle. I drink a lot of tea, so I especially appreciate the large capacity. I can get two quart-size servings before I need to refill it, which is very convenient. The digital temperature settings are another feature I really like. Different teas do better at different temperatures, and I can select the temperature I want instead of having to guess. I also appreciate something very simple: it plugs directly into a standard outlet. I live in an older home, and I've had enough frustration with plug adapters. With the Chefman, I just plug it in and use it—no adapter needed. It does include a removable tea infuser. Very small pieces of some loose-leaf teas can occasionally escape the infuser, but for me that's a minor issue and nowhere near enough to deduct a star. Ialso gave one as a gift to a friend. That wanted to begin drinking teas too. Overall, it's convenient, holds plenty of water, gives me control over the temperature, and gets used regularly in my home.

Very happy customer!
I'm in love with this Chefman Electric Kettle! I was an ocassional tea drinker but decided to start drinking more of it at night, using it to relax before bed. I didn't have a tea kettle so I was using a pan to heat water because microwaved water seems to cool too quickly for my taste. Once I started drinking tea more often I decided it was time to buy a kettle, so I did some comparison shopping and eventually settled on this one. Like a lot of people, technology has spoiled me, so I wanted a kettle that would boil water quickly, and this Chefman Electric Kettle checks that box, big time. It takes as much time to boil 24 oz of water as it does for my Keurig to dispense one cup of coffee. I'm thrilled about this. I love that I can use tea bags or loose tea right in the pot with no mess or fuss. This has allowed me to experiment with different teas, making the experience a lot of fun. I also love that I can reheat the tea in seconds. The design of the Chefman Electric Kettle is very cute and looks nice on my counter. It's big in size that it can boil a decent amount of water, but not so big that it takes up a lot counter space. The glass is very thick, eliminating the worry about cracking and it washes very easily. The color coded temperature lights are very useful and the beep to indicate the water has reached the desired temperature is VERY helpful. Sometimes I get caught up in a movie, tv program or book and forget I was boiling water, so the alarm is a feature I very much appreciate. Definitely a happy customer. I'd purchase this Chefman kettle again in a heartbeat, and I'm considering buying a few for Christmas gifts. The price is great...for me it's been worth every penny. I still love my morning coffee, but this kettle has turned me into a daily tea drinker. The experience of discovering new teas has been a blast and, thanks to this Chefman kettle, a quick and easy pricess. Buy it, I promise you'll be glad you did.

Very nice teapot for the price and purpose
I have been using this to make tea for the past several months and it works well for the purpose of loose leaf tea. Love the temperature settings! And it heats up quickly. Note if you use the fed temperature it might boil over and make a mess. Things I suggest could be better: 1. It’s not insulated. I paired it with a thermal insulated carafe and am all set. 2. Seems like the tea basket could have more volume to let the tea float with some kinds of tea like Davidson's gunpowder green tea where the leaves are larger but it works fine with other teas. After brewing and the leaves swell, they are packed in tight so maybe not getting all the flavor out. I’ve used it with regular tea bags just fine 3. The little plastic tabs that hold the tea basket to the lid look fragile. They haven’t broke after about 50 used though. Overall I would buy it again and recommend it to others.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE CHEFMAN ELECTRIC KETTLE!
Fantastic product! I have an older Chefman electric kettle that still works great, but I wanted an upgrade. I absolutely LOVE this new version! Heats up fast & is beautiful on my counter. I never thought I'd bother with an electric kettle, but it is a great time-saver & frees-up other tools (like the microwave I used to use for heating water) for other tasks! Well worth the price! AND, although I ordered via regular, free shipping I still received it the very next day!

My expectations were not met, but maybe that's just my issue.
This item does allow for tea making, but the potent smell of the tea lingers. Washing thoroughly is needed. A rinse won't clear the smell. Also, the top comes off which leaves water droplets on the counter top and while the top is out, it could pick up germs/crumbs etc. from the counter. When the top is off/out, there is a large opening which allows for an easy fill. Having the see through glass is nice but I worry that pot will get bumped and shatter. I don't know how strong the glass is and if it survives accidental bumps. It has many temperature settings, but I need only one because I am not going to use it for tea - which is why I chose this one in the first place. There is a small button to press to start heating the water. It is covered by a sort of plastic and I am afraid that the button won't hold out very long. I don't know, but it seems really iffy. The indicator lights are very nice and the pot beeps to let you know when the water is hot enough. Both features are great to have. Would I buy it again? I don't think so because I was really excited about the tea making. Of course, I can still use the hot water it produces to pour over the tea, but that wasn't what I expected. It might be the perfect pot for you if the above information isn't bothersome. AND I don't know if there is a better choice. This might be the best one available at this time??

Perfect
Literally love this kettle. The only thing is that the steeper isn’t going down deep enough into the machine, which means if I want to brew coffee, I have to brew a whole pot of coffee or else the water won’t reach the coffee grinds in the filter as well as tea if I want to brew tea, I have to brew two or three bags at a time in order for the tea to reach the water. Can’t just make one cup, which is kind of annoying other than that the kettle is great. And beautiful the lights are cute. It works really fast. The water boils extremely quickly. I find the ability to hide this cord in a circle underneath the plate is also a nice feature. It says on my counter and stops me from having to worry about getting knocked over people have said that the kettle is wobbly while it’s on the plate, but that’s only because the plate is light and when there’s no water in the kettle, it isn’t really wobbly. It’s just not securely flat because of the cord being on the bottom, it would be impossible for it to be flat but when there’s water in the kettle, there’s nothing it’s not wobbly at all. If you’re worried about a wobbly kettle, don’t leave water on the pot after a boil take it off and put it on the counter. It could be warm the glasses warm the handle is not warm so when you have boiled water and you wanna take it off the plate so it’s not wobbly just put it on top of a pot holder. Delivery came fast by the way. As well, you might wanna consider buying the one that’s like new condition they state that you might not get a box or packaging, but I got everything that everybody else gets. I checked online the box the wrapping, and the it was not sealed yet it looked new. Perfect condition and I got money off for because it was opened already.

Excellent kettle — perfect temperatures for tea and coffee
The Chefman Electric Kettle with Temperature Control is a big step up from a basic kettle. The preset temperature settings and simple two-button operation make it super easy to boil water exactly how you want — whether it’s a full boil or a lower temperature for coffee or tea. I especially appreciate that I can brew coffee without burning it and make tea at the right steeping temperature — that’s the main reason I bought it, and it delivers perfectly. The LED indicator lights are a nice touch, and the removable tea infuser adds versatility. Overall, this kettle is well-designed, easy to use, and ideal for anyone who cares about getting the water temperature just right for their drinks.
