Tractor starts much easier
I had never heard of a gear reduction starter. My 45 year old diesel tractor's starter died and I was intrigued by the gear reduction concept. This starter was priced equivalent to conventional starters, so I gave it a try. On cold mornings, the tractor can take a minute to start. I found with this starter, it started much easier and didn't put as much strain on the battery.
