Perfect for my application
I'm using this mount to hold an Anker PowerCore 5,000mAh Portable Charger, that I use to extend the battery power of my night vision scope. A YouTube video turned me on to this combo and the two products work perfect together. I can't speak to the products intended use of holding a TACTACAM, however I can speak to it holding the Anker 5,000mAh battery pack, and it hold it secure and solid. Simple installation, 2 allen head screws that hold the battery pack in the mount, and 1 thumb screw that secures the mount to a picatinny rail. This combo is a great alternative to the expensive, rail mounted battery packs for thermal and night vision scopes.

Used to mount external battery for IR scope
IR and thermal scope burn through batteries quickly. This is a great solution to use an external battery pack. Mounted on my 300 Blackout

Could use a longer mounting screw
Works perfect except for the lock screw,it could be longer giving more threads to bite I fired my crossbow & it fell off, yes it was tight, it stripped the threads because it only had a hold of few. I used a longer screw & so far no problems.
