this item sits on top of work top, it has cold and hot water ready all the time. we do not use a kettle any more as this has boiling water when needed. thank you. delivered in good time.

This item no longer heats water after only 6 months domestic use. Seller has not responded to a return request on the basis that item is not fit for purpose - avoid both product & seller.

Our office of 5 people has an inconveniently-located drinking water supply, so I was keen to find an economical water cooler to replace supermarket bottled water. I found this model via Google, available from several suppliers with the lowest price offered by Amazon. None of the suppliers had anything more than a very basic product specification. Had it not been for customer reviews I would not have had enough information to buy it. So for anyone in the same position as I was, here's a few features: - The base unit is lightweight but sturdy and it accepts a 15 litre water bottle. - There are hot and cold water taps which can be turned on or off independently of each other. - Hot water takes about 15-20 mins to heat. It does dispense very hot water which, in our opinion, is OK for making coffee. Opinion is split over whether it is hot enough to make tea; you have to stir the bag for a while so the connoisseurs still prefer the kettle. - We haven't yet tried powdered drinks. I think it will be ok for 'smooth' stuff like hot chocolate or tomato soup but I'm not convinced the water gets hot enough to handle soups with dehydrated veg, noodles, etc. - The cold water gets nicely chilled (or you have the option of leaving it at room temperature) - The unit is very quiet as it heats up, whilst cooling is virtually silent - The delivery service was faultless - the unit and the water supplies both arrived within 48 hours - Cleaning appears to be straightforward and we can do it ourselves (we bought a kit) Overall, we are very pleased. I held back on the 5th star just because the temperature of the hot water isn't quite enough to say goodbye to the kettle.

Love this dispenser, easy to install and the hot water tap provides a good temperature to make tea and coffee. Great service and delivery. Highly recommend this product.

When i purchased this im sure i didnt see that it is a hot and cold water dispenser. I only wanted a cold water one so im a little dissapointed. Its not up and running yet as we have to buy the water bottles too. By looking at the picture i was led to believe it came with one. My fault, i should have read it all fully before i bought it. You learn by your mistakes! (I have found the same product at a cheaper price since).
