Opened the box and the wrapping. The bag was a great touch. Pulled it out and what a beautiful katana.

Poor quality. Do NOT buy......
First, the edge was dull. Second, Shinwa used imitation rayskin made out of some type of hardened foam. Third, the handle wrap is more loose than a quality handle should be. DO NOT BUY!
