Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 26 cm (Black)

This Lowepro Lens Case, 11 x 26mm, is a near perfect/custom fit for a Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens - including the lens hood when the hood is not mounted, but reversed & stored/slipped over the end of the lens. There is about 3cm of extra space between the interior of the case and lens; Good for an extra filter or two, plus lens cloth or other small items you may wish to carry. Quality materials & everywhere: thick & dense protective padding, solid zipper; clean & nice construction. The neck strap is quite adequate & fairly soft/smooth on the edges, so it won't feel as if it's cutting into your neck. The carrying strap on top of the case lid is convenient for quickly grabbing your lens. Nice to have a flat side to the case, so it won't roll around if you lay it on its side. Glad I bought it when I did; The price jumped about 25% in the last 2 months. (hate when that happens)

I bought this to go along with my Toploader Pro 75 AW II Camera Case From Lowepro - Top Loading Case For Your DSLR Camera and Lens so that I could add a second lens to the bag. It fits great, as the bag has a slot on the side for just this purpose. Side note - it can also mount on the ProTactic 350 AW Camera Backpack From Lowepro - Professional Protection For All Your Equipment ProTactic 450 AW Camera Backpack From Lowepro - Professional Protection For Your Camera Gear or DJI Mavic Pro , to expand the outer storage, since the accessory bags are not available on their own. Shame on you Lowepro! I load my Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM Lens into it, with the hood reversed, and though it is a tight fit, it does fit. I can also fit my Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM Fixed Lens for Canon SLR Cameras and my Canon EF-S 18-55mm IS STM too. The padding is plenty adequate to keep the lens secure and safe, both on the bag and off. There is even a mesh pouch inside the flap for storage of something small, like a cleaning cloth, or maybe a mem card. There are a lot of different sizes, be sure to check the inner dimensions to the lens you want to fit into it. UPDATE - I wanted to add that I recently got he EF-S 17-55mm F2.8 IS USM, and this lens also fits in this pouch. I have to take the hood off it though, which I then attach to my bag with a velcro strap. Also, I have gone without caps on the lens while in the pouch, and no harm has come to any lens that I have stuck in it.

I purchased my Lowepro lens case to hold my new Canon 70-300 lens. The lens fits perfect length wise, but the case is a bit wide for the lens. It does do a decent job of protecting the lens, seeing as how my daughter promptly knocked the lens case with lens off the table (3ish feet)and onto the wood floor and the lens was none the worse for wear. The velcro on the strap of the case holds well, secures the lens to my backpack well.I don't like to carry a big camera bag in addition to my normal backpack or ruck, and this allows me to carry my small SLR case and grab whichever lenses I think I will need for the trip.The zippers are sturdy and overall this case is an appropriate value for the price (under $10.00). It's still relatively new, so should it break down or tear apart on me I will update. Overall, I say the item is a "buy"

I purchased what for me was a very expensive lens, Nikon 105mm micro. After paying this much it did not seem prudent to depend on the soft bag Nikon provided for protection. This case came sooner than expected, has padding to protect the lens, seals securely to keep out dust and moisture, and protects against shock. The case is new, not used for long, but seems very well made and I trust it with my valuable lens. If I spend over two hundred dollars on a lens I also purchase a protective filter and secure, protective case. I highly recommend this item. Quick delivery, reasonale, well comparatively reasonable price, and considering the investment in the product you want to protect, a good buy.

Well built like all of LowePro's bags. This has plenty of room for my 70-200mm lens with the tripod foot on as well as the lens hood. Nice fit as it does not bounce around inside. I wanted something to store my 70-200 in when not in my main camera bag. This also has a nice sturdy sliplock attachment so you can affix it to any bag with Molle straps. I just wish the shoulder strap was on clips so it was easier and faster to detach as it's not likely I would use it. Otherwise, 5 stars. Great lens case!

The product protects the lens reasonably well, but its price is disproportionate to the benefit.

THIS! I wish this was available when I first bought my Offroad case. It mates perfectly to it! All the velcro and slide tabs fit and lock perfectly. The straps line up just right, and strap in very securely to that case. It will fit my V1 version of the 70-200mm Nikon lens perfectly with the hood reversed. It won't fit with the hood in the shooting position (too long). However, it WILL fit and zip closed with a TC14E attached! And that's pretty impressive! I intend to purchase another one of these for my 17-55 and 24-70, since either will fit with the hood fully deployed. This case is a much better fit for those lenses than the 11x14cm case. All of these observations are from use with Nikon gear. For Canon, YMMV, so try before you buy.

After spending a traumatizing amount of money for a Canon 70-200 f2.8L lens, it was a no-brainer decision to buy this high quality padded case to protect that investment. The lens lives in this bag full-time and I even feel comfortable strapping it to the outside of my too-small Lowepro backpack on occasion (using a carabiner for added security).

Same great quality as the other Lowpro gear. It's a shame the lens doesn't fit with the lens hood attached, but I decided it didn't matter because I rarely use the hood anyway. It's a perfectly snug fit the way it is.

I bought a Tamrac bag for a long lens from the Anvil series. It uses the Molle system to attach extra lenses to the exterior. Tamrac is out of small lens bags almost all the time (the Arc series) so instead of waiting for them to have stock, I ordered this Lowepro bag plus the 7 X 8 cm variation. I'm happy with both. The padding inside is thick and of decent density (neither hard nor super soft) and although they only have one large velcro belt loop in the back (they call it SlipLock), it works OK as a Molle workaround. They affix very solidly and without wobble on my main lens bag plus they match quite well. The exterior material seems durable. I'm not sure if these are waterproof but I doubt it (no info on the Lowepro site). They would probably survive a light downpour. The price on Amazon at this time is hard to beat for these Lowepro lens cases. By the way, this bag will fit a Nikon 20mm 1.8G ED with lens shade (reversed of course). It's a tight fit but it fits and the contents will not move around inside.
