There are a number of ways to prepare for the Master’s in Social Work exam, and this is one of the better ones. There’s an unbelievable amount of knowledge a person has to master in order to pass this exam, and there’s no getting around it – in many instances, rote memorization is the optimum approach to learning the relevant material. And when it comes to memorization they haven’t invented a high tech method yet that approaches the effectiveness of plain old fashioned flash cardboard cards.I was very impressed with the quality of the writing on these cards, both the questions and the answer explanations. It’s clear that a lot of research has gone into their production. They’re also portable and sortable, which means that you can group them by subject matter, and throw one or two rubber banded groups in your backpack or purse to study every time you have a few free minutes. This also makes it very easy to work your way through all the material in an organized and disciplined fashion. For the price, this is an excellent investment in your social work career, and I would recommend it to anyone who’s studying for their master’s certification.

I like this study material because it takes you from Human development through ethics. The cards are very convenient so I can take them everywhere. Everything is broken down and easy to understand. The only thing I would say you should add would be maybe a practice test or two or test on each category so that you can test your knowledge after studying all the materials. Other than that I think it is great and I would recommend it to other people that are trying to prepare for their exam.

There are some aspects of the social work field (theories and such) that will not be changing anytime soon. For that reason, these cards are extremely helpful. The paper sucks and yes it took time to separate the cards but who cares?After placing each category in a ziplock bag I was good to go. Study anywhere !Do not keep these cards as your only source of study material. Study updated versions of the Code, LGBTQ terms, Understand methods for answering questions.I lend and recommend to all my friendsHappy studying

It was a lot of work puttng these flash cards together, but once I did I realized how many were included. I finished my MSW 4 months ago and am currently studying for my LCSW exam. Although I haven't yet taken the test so I don't know if the study questions are accurate in relation to the exam, I think too many of the questions included here focus on the Social Work Code of Ethics. The questions are hard with very detailed long answers. So far these flashcards have been a good guide for me to work on studying. A variety of topics are included from micro, mezzo and macro. A lot of research questions, which has been daunting to study...but based on what other licensed social worker I work with tell me these flashcards give you a good idea on what to study.

This product definately contains the amount of information needed for me to pass the LMSW. I have heard great review from people I know personally and have passed the test because of the material covered in your books and flashcards. I yet have to take the test, however I have been studying and feel more confident when I cover a different section. It is the right amount in length, not to much and not too little and an easy read.

I believe they are going to make the difference in whether I pass or fail the social worker's exam. The only issue I have with the cards is their shape and size. The cards are wonderful though. I would like to say purchasing the MSW Exam Secrets study exam guide by far was the best purchase I could have made to help aide me with preparing for the LMSW Exam. The book is very condense and it gets you straight to the point with no short cuts. I also purchase the Apgar ASWB study exam same content but it has so much verbiage. Mometrix gets you their with no problems also I have a tutor and the first thing she ask was which study materials I was using. I told her and she said the SW Masters was all I need

If flashcards are a specifically useful study strategy for you, then these are fine. I found the android study app and the Apgar book--and specifically the ASWB practice exam--to be the best way to prepare.
