It works and a year later still good

Learn how to simply replace your AC capacitor from Youtube. Easy and cheap
Central Airs tend to stop working when it is the hottest outside. Ours did when it was over 100 degrees. It only took my son and I 15 minutes to remove the defective AC capacitor and reinstall this one and our AC was up and running again. Not all capacitors are the same so check your capacitor ratings to make sure you order the correct capacitance. I always keep a spare capacitor on hand and it paid off big time.
