I bought this self assembly compost bin because another old lady reviewer said she put it together by herself. Well I’m a skinny old bird too and have got two more now. They’re simply the most sturdy, heavy duty, EASY TO ASSEMBLE, compost cages ever. I so wish other companies (pergolas, arbours) would make products like this. Excellent.

I like this product. It is made from wood so much better than black plastic, also it smells lovely, it was easy to assemble, and it looks good in the garden. I liked it so much i have ordered 4 in total.

Very easy to assemble and to take apart and it's very sturdy. I'm pleased with it. I don't remember any instructions but I don't think anyone would need any.

I bought two of these in January 2022, and another pair six months later. Both sets have stood up to the elements admirably. However I have mine set up as a row of compost bins and therefore haven't been dismantling/rebuilding them very often. For this use I can heartily recommend them.(For the record, I use them for fresh compost so run-off isn't much of an issue)

Arrived super quick, and great value. Didnt come with any assemble guide, but one glance back at the picture on the sellers page and it was immediately obvious and easy to build. Needed a couple of screws from me to make it good and sturdy, but fully up to the task it's designed for. Great product.

There are no instructions but it fits together easily using a rubber mallet.

Once assembled there is more space than wood and it moves away from upright very easily.Not recommended as a compost bin.

After much reviewing of available composters, I bought two of these because they were the right size for my garden, had a suitable gap to wood-width and generally appeared to be well made. They arrived in no time (in less than 7 days from ordering) despite coming from Germany. I had both assembled and in position within 1.5 hours carefully using a hammer with a piece of scrap wood to tap the mating slots together. A previous reviewer reported breaking a slat at the slot - I was careful with tapping and it assembled without issue. The wood had been treated after manufacturing the slots and there were very few dead knots.All-in-all I was extremely pleased I bought the two composters in one go and would strongly recommend it.

Die Komposter kamen kompakt verpackt bei mir an. Sie haben schon ein gewisses Gewicht und wirken stabil. Der Aufbau ist selbsterklärend und geht schnell. Das Holz ist sauber zugesägt und alles passt gut zusammen. Im Gegensatz zu den üblichen Baumarktkompostern ist er etwas größer, schwerer und deutlich wertiger.

Il prodotto è arrivato ben imballato e rapidamente. Montaggio semplicissimo e rapido. Molto bella e robusta. Io l'ho completata costruendo un coperchio.Finalmente una compostiera capiente che non si distrugge dopo poco come quelle in plastica che ho avuto fino ad oggi.

Zunächst war ich auf der Suche nach Hochbeeten und fand sie entweder zu teuer oder zu hässlich. Imprägniertes Holz wollte ich wegen der enthaltenen Giftstoffe auch nicht. Mir ist bei dem Gedanken an die Herstellung, den möglichen Übergang der Stoffe in das angebaute Gemüse und die Entsorgung als Sondermüll nicht wohl. Der Lärchen-Komposter hat den Vorteil, nicht imprägniert zu sein, das Lärchenholz hält den Anforderungen einfach länger stand. Die Lieferung erfolgte prompt. Das Holz macht einen guten Eindruck. Der Komposter ist ratzfatz aufgebaut – ohne Werkzeuge.Leider hatten die Pakete während des Transportes ziemlich gelitten. Einige der Balken waren an den ausgesägten "Kämmen", über die der Komposter zusammengesteckt wird, beschädigt. Ob das an dem ruppigen Transport lag, kann ich nicht beurteilen. Ich habe die Teile geleimt (dann konnte man sie verwenden) , Fotos davon gemacht und mich mit dem Verkäufer in Verbindung gesetzt. Er reagierte prompt, hilfsbereit und sehr kulant und hat umgehend Ersatz geschickt. Schon dafür hat er fünf Sterne verdient.Ich habe die Komposter mit den Ersatz-Balken aufgestockt, den Boden mit engmaschigem Draht gegen Wühlmäuse etc. abgesichert, dann wie im Internet beschrieben Kompost eingefüllt, mit Erde abgedeckt und Gemüse/Kräuter eingesät. Fertig ist das Hochbeet. Da der Kompost für die Rotte Sauerstoff braucht, habe ich mich gegen eine Verkleidung der Innenwände mit Plastikfolie entschieden. Vielleicht hätte das auch funktioniert. Der Vorteil wäre, dass das Holz besser geschützt ist. Das oder Unkrautvlies probiere ich beim nächsten "Hochbeet".

Super facile da montare, anche bello da guardare.

Leider war das Holz etwas modrig und feucht als es angekommen ist. Jedoch muss man sich auch den Preis vor Augen halten und ich denke dafür ist die Qualität ausreichend.Er ließ sich sehr schnell und unkompliziert zusammen bauen, auch ohne Anleitung.Um die Stabilität zu erhöhen habe ich den Boden ca 10 cm abgetragen, ein Hasen- bzw Wühlmausgitter ausgelegt und den Komposter dann darauf aufgebaut. Danach habe ich die Ränder mit etwas Erde vom Aushub aufgefüllt. Somit steht er jetzt Bombenfest.Alles in allem natürlich nicht das hochwertigste das man kaufen kann, aber für diesen Preis und das wirklich leichte aufbauen kann ich ihn weiter empfehlen.
