Product is okay.
Color blended nicely, I would call it a dark blonde but it is hard for me to apply. Overall I will buy it again.

Love This Stuff!
I had two of these and just got three more in. I do use it for my roots but the thing I like it most for is my brows. If you start at the outside of the brow working in (back combing your brow) then smooth the brow hairs back into place it colors only the hairs and not the skin making for a perfectly natural brow. Unlike a pencil, it does not rub off easily so you can actually wake up in the morning with eyebrows. Yea! Also it is very hard to find an Ashy Blonde eyebrow pencil. Now for the roots. I do use it between dye jobs and it does cover the gray. But, I have to say that though the mascara wand is perfect for brows, it's not so great for roots. It does do a good job of coloring but I find it pulls the hair. That is, the hair gets tangled up in the wand and it pulls the hair out. Can't afford to lose anymore of my thinning hair! I think I have remedied the situation, however. The last time I used it on my roots, I did it just before blow drying my hair. I slicked the wet hair back held it down firmly while applying the Masc-A-Gray. This worked so much better! It went on so much more smoothly, covered better and best of all, no precious hairs stuck in the wand. Whew!

I have used this product for a few years now....
I have been using it ever since I started to get the dreaded "i bianchi" if they show up between trips to the salon. It has the texture of a mascara, but it brushes on in the same way, and it does not leave any clumps like eye mascara. Since I am a dark blonde with highlights, I use this to touch up any whites that might show up in the darker areas, and the "ashy blonde" shade is a surprisingly accurate match. Surprising, because it is an unlikely-looking "gold" color reminiscent of "antique" gold paint or something similar. Yet, it blends in better and stays on longer than a number of liquid touch-ups I have tried. (Still washes out w/o any difficulty, though.) It provides a lot of coverage so I never have to look at those annoying white streaks at the temples. I get a lot of mileage out of 1 tube, but started buying it online when Bloomin' Beauty, the store I used to get it from, dropped all 3 of the products I used to buy there. At that point I decided not to give them the time of day, and the prices online are usually better anyway. Oh, and I would like to add, when i ran out the other day and had to use some old liquid cover-up, not only was it a poorer color blend, it is always kind of dull. Those liquid "gray" coverups add a residue and are real shine killers.

Really works to touch up the gray
This really works to touch up gray at the hairline and part line between colorings, which means is saves me money by letting me go longer between visits. The key is to select the correct color for your hair. You may want to go a bit darker than you think you need; darker roots just look more natural than too light. The first one I got was too light for me and you could tell. The one thing to be careful of is that it is a water soluble covering, not a dye, so it will rub off if you touch it. You may want to wash your hair before hitting the pillow at night, and keep your hands off it during the day.

Great for people that don't have very good eye lashes.
Liked it very well.

Great to cover light brown/gray roots for blonde hair
When I first looked at this Ashy blonde color, it appeared gold metallic in the tube. Once I put it on my roots, it turned a nice shade that blended well with my golden blonde hair. I found the easiest way to apply it so it doesn't tangle your hair is to take a small strand of hair and hold it out taut a few inches from your scalp. Then take the wand and apply it in a rolling or twirling motion, rather than dragging it through the strand of hair. No tangling this way and it covers well.

I love Masc A Gray !!!
I love this product. But I know more people would buy this if it would last longer. Manufacturer should double the size but use the same wand. This works really well when you find the right color. 4 Stars because it doesn't last long. I use this every time I wash my hair, I put this on at roots when wet, than I dry hair. I wash my hair 4-5 times a week, because my hair is thin.
