I haven't even purchased his product yet, but I was compelled to write a review to counter the review of the previous person who clearly does not read product descriptions. The artwork was created by Anne Marie Zimmerman, a French painter at the turn of the 20th century. Zimmerman applied gold leaf to make the tears. She was a friend of the more famous artist Gustav Klimt who used gold leaf in many of his paintings after 1900 and she was influenced by this style.It is not surprising then that the golden textured strokes of this artwork is done in the same style reminiscent of the artist Gustav Klimt's "Gold Period."As with anything, it's always important to read things before purchasing them.Happy shopping.
