I was a little worried about ordering the green, but it turned out to be the perfect shade of spring green (as opposed to the neon shade I feared).It's perfect for my needs.

I had to buy a REAL parasol to replace the one my partner bought me at a garage sale a few years ago. I see people walking around town using umbrellas on a hot day, and I see that some umbrellas advertised on Amazon claim to double as parasols, but there is NOTHING like walking through the crowds on a balmy afternoon with a true parasol tossed casually over the shoulder, protecting you from the sun's rays. I get SO many compliments when I carry a genuine parasol. And this product is delightful - beautiful! I've opened it and the catch works perfectly. Of course, paper parasols are by nature fragile, and I haven't had it long enough for it to stand the test of time, but we'll see. Meanwhile, I'll be proud to sport this gorgeous throwback to the days of gentility.

Nice wood construction. The paper is thin, like on most of this style of parasol. Because it is thin, you can see a little bit of where the glue seeped through the paper at the stays. It didn't bother me, but if you need the top to look perfect up close, this might not be the best choice for you. I added a tassel trim to the brim and to the center top. It looks great.

I am enjoying my sun-shading parasol which has received so many compliments. It’s light-weight and small enough (28”) to carry around and it fully covers my face and neck areas unlike the visors that come off or are tight around the head. This is better quality than the one I bought from Chinatown and so pretty to wear.

I bought this for a shower decoration and it was absolutely adorable. Other clients complained about the size, but for my purposes, it was perfect. I love that it was white so I can reuse it for other decorations later. This was for a baby shower so I tied a tulle, pink ribbon around the top. ... I didn't rate it five stars because I could never get it to open all the way and was concerned if I pushed it too hard it would fall apart. It IS a paper umbrella! And the price of the product was very reasonable but I paid almost double for it through shipping and tax. If you live in a urban setting, I would try to find one of these in a local party store because of the shipping.

I used these for my wedding. The bridesmaids looked elegant as they walked down the aisle. It was a special touch to our theme!

Exceeded my very low expectations given the price. I plan to use it when walking out in the sun. The 28” is the perfect size for that. Not too big and not too small.

Wood was pretty thick but paper was REALLY THIN one drop of rain and it will no longer exist but if u just ise it for photos it looks fine
