Burris mounts are great. Their Eliminator scope is fantastic.
Burris mounts were all that worked for me on my Ruger #1, .375 H&H. Mounted the Eliminator scope and it shoots well. Not fantastic but that's the gun and shooter, not the sight and mount.

Not compatible with the piccatinny mount on Burris fast fire.
Bought these for a ruger super blackhawk hunter. I wanted to mount a Burris fast fire, that was for a piccatinny mount, but it wouldn't fit on this mount. The center lug prevents it from fitting.

great if you know how to modify
Made really well I had to modify them and my scope rings to make them work right. I knew I would because of other customer feedback. They are great if you can adapt them yourself. They are made of steel which really like. If you are not a modifier person I would not recommend.

Weaver base adapter
Bases of good quality. Made to work with my Burris mounts to my Ruger 1. No problem in mounting or alignment.

doesn't work with standard weaver rings
Standard weaver rings or any other brands that are similar dont fit these bases. A email to burris and amazingly they recommended using their zee rings that have a small enough base to fit. In the end it would of been faster and just as cheap to get ruger rings. Base adapter were good quality

Product is good for what it is
Product is good for what it is, but turns out it is not what I was looking for. I didn't see, or recognize the actual design until I received/installed theses mounts. There is a mound at the securing point which only allows for specific optic ring mounting locations. If you plan on using a reflex sight with a long mounting clamp, it will not work. I had to find the long picatinny rail that secures to both mounting points of my PC9 in order to attach my sight, this also gave me multiple mounting 'distance' options.

This is what you need if you want to use non-Ruger rings on your M77. Very solid and tight fit.
