Im a member of Hauspanther.com and this arrived in my subscription email advertising the product. I LOVE this product. Not only is it sturdy it's modern and aesthetically pleasing. If you are into modern type decor this is for you.The wood is a deep cherry and it's perfect height for cats (short). I've already told a few people about this and they bought one the next day. Buy the short for your toy breeds and cats, tall for medium/large dog breeds.The bowls come out easily to wash and they stay in place. All of my feeding and watering products are steel due to cats having plastic allergies which causes cat acne (the small black dots under their chin). So far they have not knocked this over or flipped the bowls. I really wanted something to where I could come home and not see a bowl full of kitty crunches thrown across the kitchen floor. Im sure you know what I am talking about LOL! A lot of our feline friends like to play with their food. Could it be for entertainment? Who knows. I have no idea. Coming home to a thousand pieces of crunchies to pick up isn't exactly what I would call fun. Maybe they just need to test us to make sure their "staff" is still available LOL!However I will mention that I do NOT use this dish as a water bowl. I have a completely different watering dish which is the stainless steel 360 fountain by Drinkwell. That is also another amazing product. I wouldn't recommend this dish for watering purposes because the wood will warp. If you have a messy drinker IE: larger dogs I wouldn't recommend it. Get a separate dish for that. I have two cats so two bowls of food is great for each one to eat separately.Anyways, this dish is super sturdy no more crunchie detail!

The media could not be loaded.  I have had the tall feeding stand with stainless steel bowls for about three months now for my 80 lb. yellow Lab. He loves it and so do I. It is excellent quality. The bowls are stainless steel just like my kitchen mixing bowls that clean up very easily. I wash the bowls with soap and water about every third feeding and if dirty in between those times just wipe out the bowls with a damp paper towel. They are very well made and will last for years. I put dry kibble in one with a little wet dog food and keep fresh water in the other bowl. The stand is very attractive and easy to clean. The bowls set in the stand perfectly and are easy to take out and clean the top of the stand with a sponge. The stand is sturdy, well made and is like some type of wood grain formica or like the smooth shelving in cupboards. It is water proof and cleans and shines after cleaning. What a great quality product!! Very good Price. For other reviews that are not positive, I would say to take care to clean and wash your product and it will last for years. There is nothing sub-par about this stand and bowls. If you have a large breed dog like a German short hair or Lab then get the larger stand for sure. Hope this helps somebody make a decision because other reviews have helped me a lot make decisions on products to buy.

I own 3 of these now, bought the first two a few years ago after a kitchen reno. A new pup has been added to the family and I happily bought a third. They look good, clean well, the finish has lasted for YEARS. Worth the money!

This is such a lovely feeder. It looks very nice and is solidly constructed. The height is nearly perfect for my 85lbs elderly German Shepherd. (It could stand to be a touch taller for her, but I can't really fault the company for that). In general it seems a good height for larger dogs.For the quality of construction, it's worth the price. I've seen many other feeders that weren't as tall, or which were made of plastic that were nearly the same price. I was a bit worried initially about the wood getting stained or discolored from water splashes, partly because I can be a bit forgetful and know I wouldn't always wipe it as I could. But it's held up well so far, and I really don't wipe it every day like I should.The stain is dark, rich and well applied and provides some water resistance, although the instructions that came with recommend wiping with mayo every few months. I'm not sure I'd use mayo personally, but I can imagine any oil based wood treatment would work (I plan on using the mineral oil/beeswax blend that i use to treat my bamboo cutting boards. If it damages this, I'll report back).It looks very nice in my kitchen, has helped my older dog eat more comfortably, and has held up well so far. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Leaving this review as other reviews seem to be mostly from dog owners. I got the small size for my cats and the height is perfect for them. They seem to enjoy eating from this one better than from their other bowls on the floor. The deep bowl is way too deep for food, but the shallow bowl works quite well. This brand also has spare bowls for sale if you'd rather replace the other deep bowl for a shallow one. I've had this feeder for a couple of months now without any issues. It gets quite a bit of use on a daily basis, (it even gets bumped by my Roomba here and there) and hasn't become damaged at all. The bowls clean nicely in the dishwasher. No complaints!

I had been looking for a dog bowl stand that was sleek and stylish and blended into my kitchen - I was extrememly pleased with this one.

So far I like it after about a month now. The tall one is great for my lab. Always water splashes around the dishes but it wipes off good. Sturdy enough, looks nicer than just having the dishes on the mat on the floor. Wish I got it sooner for my girl as it seems more comfortable for her to eat without her head so low!

Genau so eine Dog Bar habe ich gesucht. Sie sieht toll aus und ist schön verarbeitet. Die Schüsseln sind auch hochwertig. Hätte ich alles so für den Preis nicht erwartet. Würde ich gleich wieder kaufen! Und dem Wauzi gefällt sie auch.
