Bought as a Christmas gift and today is 6th December. 5 stars given on presentation, looks, weight and feel.

I received my knife a few days ago and have to say it’s lovely! First of all I was wowed by the packaging and thought put into the knife arriving safely with me. It even comes with its own blade guard/sheath with a locking pin for safety- which is ideal as the knife is razor sharp!The knife itself is obviously well built and sharpened perfectly. It’s balanced and clearly made from the best materials but still not heavy in the hand.Very happy with the value, packaging and product itself and will be replacing my old knives as and when with these orient knives. I’m sure this will last me for decades!

I bought the quality knife for my son-in-law for Christmas. He loves to cook and makes an excellent tasty Sunday Roast. He was highly delighted with the quality, weight, balance and feel. I have to say I was very impressed by the professional quality of the ultra-sharp blade, Its well-designed safety sheath, and the stylish practical presentation/storage box. Certainly recommened

I bought this to replace a similar knife which got damaged. It fits in the knife block, is well balanced and comfortable to hold, and is very sharp. It was extremely well packaged. I had to provide photo ID before I was allowed to accept the package, all as it should be. I’m very happy with the purchase.

A knifes knife. It cuts things and it cuts them good! this sharp bar of hardened steel will show your vegetables no mercy, will leave your meat in shreds and your onions in tears. I've been chopping things since I was a wee baby and I can tell you this, this knife is a strong chopper. A plus, would cut again.

I purchased this knife as a gift, the recipient has struggled for years with an old knife block pack of bendy blunt kitchen knives, which in my view are both dangerous and ineffective.Sometimes until you try something that is a radical advance over what you currently own, you cannot appreciate the light and day difference these new knives will make.They have a lovely weight and look amazing and are very sharp and easy to maintain.I’m sure they will be well received once opened on Christmas Day.All arrived in sturdy package and due to knife safety do need to be signed for.Great service.

The media could not be loaded. This is a top quality knife. I purchased my very first orient 8 inch chef knife about a year ago and i have used it for completley the wrong reason intended. It has been my companion knife on a fishing boat cutting rope slicing fish and chopping conger eel and needless to say it holds a great edge for a long time baring in mind it has been relentlessly sharpened and abused on the boat and served me well. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a budget knife that will handle your every day kitchen needs with no problem Orient knives are well balanced and perfectly forged to do just that and at that price it wont be beaten
