TYR Women's Sport Solid Durafast Maxback Swim Swimwear

For the record, I am 5'4" and weigh 150. I am also a DD. Finding a swimsuit that keeps everything where is should be and covers what I would like to be covered is tough. I was nervous about ordering a suit online, but decided to give it a go. I looked online and got Tyr's official size chart, and I seemed to be either a size 36 or 38, so i ordered the smaller size, which was a good choice. It arrived quickly. I tried it on and was relieved that it fit, and I was more pleased to discover how comfortable it is. This suit is amazing. I feel supported, it fits like second skin, it doesn't move or ride up or bunch or cause any other swimsuit drama. I don't worry at all that something is going to fall out during a flip-turn (which has definitely happened to me in the past, even in a Speedo.) The neckline comes up high to keep both "the girls" covered. It does not leave strap lines. It also looks nice. Don't get me wrong, this is not the suit you wear to the beach to look cute in, but for a racing suit it is flattering. I am following the instructions regarding care and I hope it will last. I will update if it does not. But for the price, I would definitely recommend it and I will certainly buy it again. I have spent equal money on suits that were less functional and less comfortable, and with this I feel like I am getting my money's worth. Oh, I read a tip somewhere that says you should be able to pull the straps to your earlobes but no higher. I used this trick to test the sizing when it arrived and I recommend you do the same. If it's a tad tight that is fine because it will stretch. Even with the snug fit I can get into it easily, without any embarrassing contortionist moves in the locker room.

Well, this would fit me perfectly, if i had tiny boobs. Sadly, at a 38DDD, my boobs are popping out the top and the sides despite buying a larger size to accomdate my chest. I can never find a bathingsuit of any kind ever to fit my chest. If only this one covered the sides a little more, it would be amazing. I would post a picture, but withas much popping out, it would be inappropriate.

I normally don't write product reviews but upon trying on my new TYR swim suit I know I have to spread the word for this great product! I'm a first time TYR customer and I'll purchase their goods thereafter.Most important thing when buying this swimsuit: SIZE UP!! A swimsuit is not like a shirt or a dress. It is supposed to cling to your body very tightly, so unless you are as slim and athletic as a model, I suggest you read these tips before you buy your normal clothes sizes.1. Go to the TYR's sizing chart. The one provided by Amazon is a general sizing chart, not a swimsuit/TYR specific one. The TYR chart is here: http://www.tyr.com/shop/sizing/2. Locate your size according to your largest measurement. Not everyone has the exact combination of chest/wasit/hip measurements for a specific size, when that happens stick to your largest measurement. For example, if your chest measurement fits 34 and your hip fits 36, go with 36. After this step, you should have a tentative size, say it's 36.3. Size up by one based on the preliminary size you get from step 2, in this case you would go from 36 to 38. A 38 is guaranteed to fit you well, if a bit loose.Nice things about the swimsuit: the quality is sturdy and seems to be able to stand chlorine for a long time. The cut is flattering. The suit cuts pretty high on the top. It also has medium-high cut on the bottom. In general, it fits my short & somewhat fat body perfectly (I'm 5'3 and 125 lbs)

I read many reviews for performance swimsuits. All performance/competitive suits run smaller than a typical swimsuit so order a size or two larger. I found out that the reason why the suits run smaller is because the suit itself needs to hug the body tight for optimal performance. But for my novice 13 year old daughter she needed more comfort and aesthetics than performance so I ordered a larger size. My daughter is shorter with a larger frame.At 5'1" and 162 lbs the size 36 fit her perfectly for her body proportion.

fits well. Good for my modest teenager. Covers her rear end well and has supportive comfortable straps. Thick enough to feel the compression but I wouldn't call it a racing quality suit. Does well enough for practice but not competition. Washes well, we air dry. Holds up to 3-5 practices a week and lasts about six months before we need to replace them due to elastic weakening and sagging.

I've swam my whole life, so when I say "fit as expected" I mean this bathing suit is tight. That's how it is supposed to fit. I am 5'1"-5'2"ish, a muscular 130 pounds, and have a 32DD bust. I ordered a size 30. I love how this suit covers all my lady parts, and I love the leg cut. It's not super high, but it's not grandma-ish either. My boobs are on lock down in this suit. I love it! I would definitely recommend it for the bustier ladies out there. It's cut high so you don't have to worry about people gawking at your ladies, and it holds them down tight. I also like that it doesn't make my back look really fat, and - as an appley rectangle shaped woman - I'm happy to report that I actually have a waist in this suit.In summary - if you want a suit that holds your boobs in place, doesn't expose your lady bits, doesn't make your back look fat, and gives you a nice waistline...then this suit is for you.

I love TYR's Durafast suits. I teach swim lessons and will be in the water for 3-4 hours at a time. I've had this suit for about two months and the color hasn't faded and the material hasn't deteriorated, the only thing I see is that the threads have gotten bleached out by the chlorine, which actually is proof that the swim suit material is superior. The poly blend is the key to the TYR Durafast! I bought another suit at the same time and it is made of the normal Lycra blend, it is already in the trash because it is faded and too loose after just three wears. I also like the back because I'm curvy so the butt has a nice full coverage! Some people think they run small, but I think that's because the material is a little snug at first because it doesn't have as much give, which helps it hold up in the long run. I order a 38 and I'm 5'1" and 155 lbs.

I always buy TYR swimsuits. The reason I have a few swimsuits is not because they are bad quality, it is because I just don’t like to wear the same swim suit every day.I have a "TYR Alliance T-Splice Maxfit" in size 38 which fits perfectly, a bit tight to put on, but once on it feels just right.The “TYR Sport Women’s Solid Durafast Maxback Swimsuit” appears to be a bit larger than the “Alliance T-Splice Maxback Swim suit" which may be due to the softer and stretchier material. The back comes up to the waist and is nicely cut. The lined swim suit appears to hold more water than the "Alliance". I wonder whether with wear and tear it may start sagging. I have lost two pounds which may or may not be the reason the swim suit feels a bit too large. I may have to shorten the straps a bit which should be easy enough to do. Maybe I should have ordered a size 36 for this model.Overall, I am finding TYR swimsuits to be very good quality swimsuits that fit well. I just ordered another "Alliance T-Splice Maxback Swim suit" which, at this stage, I prefer. I chose the size according to the TYR website and, as far as I am concerned, the sizing is accurate.

Thank goodness that I took the time to examine the Reviews from other customers. The information enabled me to select the recommended size based on the experience of other customers.

Siempre uso esta marca, nado de 3 o 4 veces por semana y se desgastan como al año a ese ritmo. Talla perfecta, es muy cómodo.

Me gusto mucho el traje espero que este siresista el entrenamiento diario, pues compre otro TYR que en menos de un mes ya se habia aflojado la tela de arriba, y vaya q me gusto como me quedaba el diseño.
