A mighty flagship & hidden gem in price of a budget phone
I got this under 15k with an exchange offer. At first I was a bit sceptical with this using a 2018's phone in 2K22. But after using it for last 3 months here is my review -Pros -1. Looks & built - It’s a very thin phone. Other than this it’s build like a tank. The dual tone finish in the back & punchy orange power button definitely attracts your friends & colleagues. The feeling of holding the phone on hand also very pleasant.2. Performance - As it is a 2018's built flagship I was in a doubt how it can cope up with the techs & software. But it proved me wrong. It’s 4gb ram and Google's stock Android has given me very smooth and delicate performance in day to day tasks and even in heavy task. No lags, jittering are there. Out of box it was running in Android 8 but asap you open this it will give you 3 updates and goes into Android 11.3. Camera - I think this is the feature why should you buy this "old but gold" flagship. I am a semi-professional photographer so my choice of phone revolves around the camera mostly. This 12 MP single camera can do the everything and way better than the latest 20k pricing phones. The colours are very natural. Damn good dynamic range. Night scapes are also very clear well balanced in terms of lighting and colors. I had used Gcam mods in different different phones but here can taste the full potential of the Gcam and Google's outstanding camera science. I am very sure you would not complain about not having 3-4 cameras [ I have attached few photos taken with this ]Video is also very good though it is not so wide but the stabilization is good compared to a 2018's built phone. Selfies are also very natural. It maintains the human skin tone properly with out adding extra beautification.4. Battery backup is average. It has a 18W fast charging it may be slow for who are using 64W or more faster chargers. I am a heavy user (not a gamer), I need to charge this twice a day.5. Speaker is very loud and clear. I am not saying it’s punchy but well balanced mids and lows.6. Finger print is quite fast.7. p-Oled screen colors are properly maintained, no problem in consuming video contentsCons : -1. Esim doesn’t support Indian carriers like Jio or Airtel only limited to USA, Canada & Mexico. So you have use like a single sim slot phone.2. No face unlock3. It has thick bezels on the front. Might be turned off for few.4. Though the primary camera is all rounder but you definitely feel missing the wide-angle camera if you are already used to with it. Less manual control over in built camera app. You need third party apps for that.5. Mic is a bit less louder you need to raise your voice a bit when speaking with someone in a call.6. You can use 3.5 mm headphones you need the converter (comes with phone in the box) or have to buy c-type headphone. Can charge the phone and use headphone simultaneously, for that you need to use Bluetooth headphone.Final verdict : If you are aware with the limitations and you have a budget around 20k definitely go for it. It’s a hidden gem in this price segment. You will get a outstanding experience of software supremacy and flagship. People will definitely notice the phone just like iphone 😜

Software apex
Software ApexI believe OnePlus xiaomi has been the clear leader in specs and value for money . Not to mention their own unique Android UI features but why does the pixel brand still matter.Simple it is by the company which dictates the software to all the above phones. You need to buy this phone just for it's stock Android and the amazing ai and other features it brings with it. It has a decent build with an amazing battery performance . What more can you ask for from a flagship phone . The camera is easily the best among the premium phones and let's not forget the free Google cloud storage you get with it.This pixel 2 version has been value for money when I bought in early 2019 and ensures that you are always in the forefront of the software game. If you not a power user this would be your best choice

Honest Review as on February,2019
I had received the April 2018 batch. Everything is fine with the phone. All the functionalities are working perfect with no lag. Camera is too good to mention. But only disappointed by the blue tinge that the phone is having when viewed from a angle. Though it is less in saturated mode but still its ok. Coming from a Samsung background, you might be slightly disappointed by the display, but you won't hate is as the screen has great details as the Samsung devices do. The display is on the warmer color tone.If you are looking for a fluid device and a camera fan trust me pure android experience will be awesome incluiding the AI camera. Yes once again i would like to mention that if you belong to Samsung family then you might loose out some of their features that it for sure like Samsung Pay, Edge functions, UI changes and some customisations. But despite having these few negatives, Pixel 2xl lives up to be an fabulous experience!I got the phone from Akshat Telecom!Only concern is the warranty of the phone. Amazon said its 1year warranty while the seller claims its 2 years!* Updated- Phone is working superb. Well its worth to mention that the video quality is not that good in low light and get blurred.I am still waiting for Amazon to update the warranty of this mobile in their website as Google is providing 2 year warranty and so are the sellers. Google has confirmed no matter where you buy the phone from they will provide 2 years of warranty. So i request team Amazon to kindly update the warranty details of the phone so that customers like me are not confused and are aware of the actual facts of warranty.Coming to the phone again, there is a small bug as i mentioned earlier regarding the blue tinge while aligning/tilting the phone, but trust me that wont be a huge setback if you do buy it as i too have adjusted and got acustomed with it. Its a problem with the p-oled screen provided by LG and all the batches you buy will be having this issue more or less which Google has tried its best to resolve by software updates but still a bit of it exists and its not huge deal. If you are coming from a Samsung family, please use the saturated mode in display as it gives you not the best but near by experience to the oled screen by Samsung. Another thing,is the slow charge, and yes it does charge a little bit slow but not bad. Only problem is that the phone charges till 99 and then never reaches to 100. You need to unplug and then again plug it in to get the full 100 charge. I guess from my own research its a bug that is yet to be addressed by Google. No matter you charge it for entire day it will be till 99. Phone Display on time is just great and the phone should last atleast a day on normal usage and still remain with some juice.Speaker are stereo but the bottom is louder than the top one. This fact is annoying but you will barely notice it, and this has been officially stated by google. It might feel to some awkward but you won't notice much difference. My Thoughts- Phone does not slow down at all, its a fabulous phone, with superb camera. Its an all rounder, i have played PUBG intensively and trust me this phone handles it very good.Hope this review helps everyone and wisely choosing the phone you want.Update: Finally the phone now has 2 yrs of warranty under Amazon and the charging issue has been resolved.

Disaster Phone.
Within 3 months of use, speaker sound distortion issue started. Google India support took 2 months to get this issue sorted and still could not resolve the issue. This service partner B2X tried all manipulated tactics to convince me that the speaker issue is resolved. Fedup, I took the phone back. Now fast charging does not happen. System config shows this phone as LG now. Mother board has been replaced and now I have two different IMEI numbers, one of motherboard another one of SIM tray. This review is of the phone hardware quality and service provided by Google India.
