Wigwam Men's Snow Sirocco Knee High Performance Ski Sock,Black,Sock size : Large ( shoe Size : Men's 9-12 , Women's 10-13)

I wore these socks once last year, went to put them on this year and they completely unraveled at the heel.

I bought these for my husband as we've been on what feels like an epic search for snowboarding socks that don't cut off the circulation around his calf because they are so tight (he has large muscular calves). These ones are the best we've found thus far as instead of the tight band being around the largest part of the calf (where most other snowboard socks end on him) these ones actually come up much closer to the knee, where the calf circumference is smaller, and therefore aren't quite as blood-cutting-off-to-the-foot as the rest of them have been. They are still a bit tighter than he would like around the top band, but like I said, best we've found so far!(We did try 2 sizes, one his regular size and one a size larger, to see if the top band would be looser, but it wasn't really looser at all, just the bottom part of the sock was larger and therefore didn't fit properly, so kept it in his usual size)

PROSComfortable and didn't crinkle - in ski boots this is really important! It sucks to have a crease inside the boot you can't fix. The socks were also very plush and provided a decent amount of padding in a normal shoe as well.Durable - I had no issues with holes or undue stretching when I used these on a skip trip - they also washed very nicely and didn't leave lint everywhere.CONSWarmth - I was definitely losing feeling in my toes towards the end of the colder days - around 20-30F up on the summit. I would definitely recommend an additional layer, maybe some boot liners.Conclusion: A great budget option for a ski sock if you don't want to spend a fortune preparing for your trip!

Wore these socks once and already have a hole in them, so not sure that the construction or materials used are very high in quality.

Bought size L for shoe size M 10 and calves that are 19 in tall, 17 in wide. First, they do not go all the way up, even when new, because they are very narrow. Second, they shrank in warm wash, low heat dryer, so now they go up even less than before. I give them two stars, not one, because even with going less of the way up than when new and being somewhat bunched between the heel and half-way up the calf, they stayed put, so I could still use them for skiing on the day I found they shrank in the wash. They left big marks on my skin but I did not mind. I will not buy this brand again because of the size, but I can see how someone with skinny calves would like them.

I purchased these socks to wear skiing. They work really well to keep your feet warm and provide comfort when wearing ski boots. I’ve had them for a few years and they are still holding up really well.

I bought a couple of pair of Wigwam Mucks and they turned out to be great socks for me. So I bought a pair of these for cooler weather. Since I have had them I have washed them once and wore them once and found one of the socks already don't stay up. It's as if the elasticity has already worn out. I'll continue to wear them to see how long the other one lasts. As for comfort around the foot they fill great. I walked just over four miles in one day and my feet felt great at the end of the day.

Bought my first pair Jan. 2015, second pair Nov. 2015, and two more pair Nov. 2019. All are still in service. They are the best I have ever owned for cold, snowy Northeastern Washington State. They fit great and sure hold up when snow blowing and shoveling. Also purchased 4 pair of Wigwam Women's Super Boot Heavyweight Boot Socks for my wife in 2015 and she loves them. Don't hesitate.... or Get cold Feet!

My husband has circulation problems and suffers from very cold feet and calves.I saw these on line and ordered through Amazon when I found they were sold there.My husband is very pleased with how warm his Legs and feet are.We hope this continues after a couple of months washing.
