The doormat is as per site's description. This is just one (1) of the four (4) items I tried out of Saral Home's many line of products. I got a free gift with the purchases. I liked this product due to being eco-friendly. Know that the mat material is from Jute, which is a long, soft, shiny vegetable fiber that can be spun into coarse, strong threads. Jute is a sturdy natural organic fiber, which is the most eco-friendly, biodegradable and recyclable natural fibre in the world. It also play a vital social role in the lively hood of millions of marginal rural peoples life in the world, which meets both the goals of social responsibility and green movement. Since this is jute, machine washing is not advisable. due to natural wear and tear, washing/cleaning must be done with care. I think hand washing with gentle detergent will suffice.

This is a mat you cannot wash as you normally wash something, because its rubberised backing will disintegrate.The backing is just a thin layer of rubber-like material that has been melted onto the jute material and sticks fast to it.That's how it can give a strong anti-slip effect.But if you try to wash the back with vigour, it will pill off.So one can only hand wash and brush the top of it, to clean it.

I have been trying a numbe rof door mat ,but none of them were economical, efficient and elegant as this one. The mat is thin enough to slide under the door part and due to the sturdy rubber coating doesn't move from its place. The texture of the upper surface is soft enough to provide and feathery touch to your feet when you land on it. Overall,best buy and highly recommended. Thank you Saral Home. Keep up the good work.

The entrance of our home is fulfilled with this mat. It’s very elegant. I got compliments for the mat . Used it for my new home.

This may is thin and may remove dust from the footwear while stepping over it but may not absorb moisture from wet feet. Serves as a decorative piece and less functional. I have laid it at my doorstep and it looks good--like some piece of Art on the floor!

Came with a free hanger with Nazi symbol.Hail Hitler I guess.Kinda reminded me how people around me are using loud speakers illegally to shove their beliefs into my house. Causes panic attacks cos Loud Speakers cause anxiety for me.

The doormat is exactly as shown in the pic. It is thick enough to be durable for a long time. Also it doesn't move off the floor even when people place their feet on it continuously.
