The recipe called for Lard & Corn Meal when I was making my own Bird Suet Cakes. The Corn meal worked out great in my mixture. Thickened it all up. This delivery came real fast & I got 2 containers so those birds are going to be full of suet for the winter

For some reason my local market (Stop and Shop) no longer carries this product. This cornmeal serves my need for Corn Bread with chili. Also good for dusting when working with pizza dough. Also makes a decent Chicago deep dish pizza crust. It can be used for polenta in some cases. It isn't suitable for Rhode Island Johnny Cakes.

Have used this corn meal all my life. It’s great on fried okra and it makes the best cornbread.

I could not find in stores. So went on line and ordered. Very expensive. The package was damaged. Was still usable.
