Best Glide Mini Survival Repair Tape AC1272

Used this a few years ago in hike on Kalalau trail. Used to wrap an ankle. Worked as expected. Not cheap tape. Small size makes it easy to have around just in case. Duct tape can fix so many things... why not throw this in the camping pack?

I experimented with the "Roll your own" duct tape variations, and watched/wasted many hours on this topic. Finally broke down and bought this nice 2 pack. It's from a trusted outdoors company, well-rolled and good cling to it. It's now in my hiking backpack ready to use. Wish I had just bought this in the first place!

This seems to be decent duct tape, not the best, certainly not 100 MPH tape, but decent. It's pretty strong and sticks nicely, especially to itself. It's overpriced for the amount you get, but of course the whole reason I bought it was for the convenience of not having to unroll a large roll of tape and re-wrap it myself, potentially reducing the adhesive integrity in the process. So basically, only buy this if you're lazy like me.

Smaller than I thought they were going to be. That being said will be good in a backcountry kit to not take up much space/weight.

I keep this in a special bag in my purse. The only items allowed in are survival items like needlenose pliers, duct tape, measuring tape, zip ties, etc.

The rolls are much smaller than they appear. They are only 1.75 in, not 2 in. And diameter is shown next to a quarter. I don't want to guess at what their version of 50 in . is, or waste the money that I already did put out. I thought these would be great in a first aid/ emergency bag, but prob should have bought a full size gorilla roll for nearly half the price and found a way to utilize the empty space in the center if the roll. Gimmicky and not worth the money. I won't buy this item again.EMT, Instructor, and camper.
