Sunex 1410 10-Ton, High Height, Pin Type, Jack Stands, Pair

Way overkill for my need however, since Harbor freight no longer makes the tall 2 ton version. This was next. I have the pair holding a 4X4 Pine board with a 'A' body atop while I restore the car frame. Even with the body on the pinch welds the car is solid. The price is reasonable. The minimum height is what sold it for me. Packaging took two men and a boy to move it until uncrated.

This things are best vehicle stands ever. Best thing for high lifts and extremely heavy support. Saving for another set.

These are not cheap or inexpensive. How much is your life or safety worth? If you’re on the fence, jump off and get a set for your safety. I measured the frame height and bought the tallest set to accommodate my needs. I’ve been using heavy duty jackstands for all the work I’ve been doing. They’ve been good enough, but I always wanted extra height or workspace under the truck. I feared a failure of the standard jackstands when supporting the frame. These are heavy and heavy duty. There’s no question as to the lock feature with the pin. The height is great for what I needed. I didn’t notice anything that would deter me from recommending these to a friend or coworker.

First off is these jacks are BIG. I mean like crazy BIG and built like a tank! When I opened them up and just saw the size of the retaining pin I was laughing for like 5 minutes. Everything about these felt like a joke because of how huge everything is. Look at the size comparison compared to small 2 ton jack stands and what I would call a large 6 ton jack stand. They are not even in the same league. In my picture there is a full size shovel to give you a idea of just how tall these things go. I used these to work on my Dodge Ram 2500 that has a 6" lift with long travel leaf springs. There is so much leaf spring travel that you have to jack the truck up to a crazy height to get the pressure off the springs. The Dodge frame is curved just in front of the rear tires so you cant place a jack there, at least safely in my opinion. That's where these very tall jacks come in. I placed them on the rear section of the frame which is a good deal higher up than the rest of the trucks frame. I had to get these jacks around 42" in height to get my truck off the ground with enough clearance to droop the leaf springs and not have the 37" tires still on the ground. Without these jacks I would have had to use a redneck very unsafe method to try this. With these jacks I am 100% confident that nothing will happen.

Works. Heavy. Feels solid and safe but sun fades fast.

Wow, bought the tall jacks and they are amazing. Very happy with the quality and delivry. Shipping boxes were reinforced and padded so the jacks are in mint condition. Very heavy, but built sstrong.im sure they will last me a lifetime!

Used multiple times with medium duty crash trucks and semi's for spring replacements and differential repairs. flat feet allow for sturdy placement without digging into the ground good for gravel yards to concrete. thick pins that haven't bent even with truck on stands for a week. not too heavy, best frame jack stands ive ever bought.
