Coconut Milk Powder, 1 Kg

Add it to any curry dish to enhance its taste and it adds a rich wholesomeness. Just seal and keep refrigerated after opening and it will stay for months with no trouble. Definitely value for money especially if you use coconut milk in dishes regularly.

Original product it was good this time

It is very convenient to have a pack of coconut milk powder on hand . Fresh squeezed coconut milk is always the best - but this comes close to the real thing . Flavour is similar to fresh coconut milk . Buying the 1 kg pack is more economical . 100 gm pack costs rs100 while 1 kg pack cost me around 699. Which comes up to less than rs 70 per 100 gm. It can be used for coconut milk based curries like fish, meat and vegetable . Also goes well in desserts that call for coconut milk. Mix with warm water in any thickness and use . Maggi is my preferred brand for coconut milk powder

Simplifies cooking. No need for ready made coconut milk. With powder you make as much as you need. No wastage. Great taste and good value for money.

It is an awesome product. I am from Kerala and used to make curries with real coconut milk, which is quite a messy work to scrape coconuts, extract milk twice or thrice and then add to curries. But i tried this on the recommendation of my sister who lives abroad and to my awe, this product gives equal or more flavour to the dishes. I tried veg stew, chicken curry, veg curry and also made ada pradhaman, (traditional kerala payasam, made using coconut milk) twice with the product. All came out at best and received praise more than ever. Thank you so much..

It is a good product. We continuously purchase it. The only thing to be noted is the expiry date.

Have been working with this product and a few other firms (great mention, Renuka brand from Lanka) for a long time. Works great to keep the consistency of the curry the same every time. Also, can be stored for a longer period of time. Plus point the high coconut percentage, little negative point is the milk protein used which makes the product problematic for lactose intolerance (medical tests gave no definite results) Only negative point is the high price, this product is imported from Lanka, the same product is a lot cheaper in western Europe, which doesn't make sense, profit margins are too high here, companies should reconsider, then they would actually sell more!

I use it in lieu of fresh coconut milk. The thickness required can be as per choice since its powdered, and therefore convenient and economical. Can be stored at room temperature in airtight bottles. Though a little expensive, it's worth it.
